I am 37 years old today.
I have 6 children and have been a mother since I was 19.
I was married for 10 years and am now divorced.
I am with a wonderful man whom I love dearly.

When I was a little girl of 7, this is what I thought my life would be like at 37.

I would be married to a man I love.
I would have 6 children (3 boys and 3 girls)
I would own a big house in a nice town.
I would have a big pink convertible.
I would also have horses to ride when i didn't want to take the car.
I would be rich, cause I was gonna be a lawyer.
I would have blonde hair and be tall. (lol).

So what did your future look like when you were 7?
3 out of 7 isn't bad in my books!!!

Happy Birthday Tara!

I wanted to be so many different things at 7 but a super hero type doctor/ lawyer/ teacher/ fireman/ policeman/ dancer/ actress and singer all roled into one. Oh and be married to an ace bloke (done) and be a mommy to at least 2 children, I have one and another on the way so almost done. I am happy with my life how it is...

Happy Birthday Tara, I hope you get very spoilt and have a fantastic day.

I wanted to be a teacher, I wanted to be married and be a mum. So I actually achieved everything, although I wanted more kids by now, the old biological clock is ticking so I have to get a move on!

I wanted to be my next door neighbours. Own a cane farm, a big landcruiser, have 4 kids, always be yelling into the car phone about "business". LOLOOLOLOL

Happy birthday Tara xxx

Happy Birthday Tara!

Hmmm, I don't quite remember at 7 what my dreams were for my life other than that I wanted 4 children at the time and I wanted to be a teacher.

Lol, thanks Tara. I've already botched up two of my dreams and can't take that back, but the other ones are still somewhat feasible. When my daughter starts to school in six years, I can too n.n and work in a library. and at least volunteer at an animal shelter or something. Oh, and we have to move out of this town in order for me to go to vet school, so yay! plus i don't want my daughter in this school system xP

But happy birthday again and thanks for the chin-up :D I hope you have a wonderful and lovely birthday today and a great year to come.

You are so young still. All of your dreams could come true, you just have to want them bad enough and let time make them happen for you.
Believe me, at 21 I really thought my life was set the way it was. It's nothing like it was back then, nothing at all.
Life has a funny way of changing how you see it, everyday is a new day, every obstacle an opportunity...
cliche I know, but oh so true in the grand scheme of things.
:)Chin up buttercup.

Happy birthday :D

I had a huge list of things. I wanted to be a veterinarian most, or a librarian, or a lawyer, or a teacher. I didn't ever want to get married or have kids. I wanted to live on a ranch with lots of farm animals and horses. I wanted to own my own pet shop. I wanted to become a famous author. I didn't want to live the rest of my life in my hometown.

I'm married, have a kid on the way, don't have a job, don't have a degree, and live in a townhouse in my hometown. My parents didn't think being an author or a veterinarian or a teacher or a librarian would be lucrative, and I never told them about being a lawyer, so they tried to push me into radiology. Made me hate school.

It's kind of depressing. Nothing I wanted to do ended up happening :( but i'm not even 21 yet so i still have some time, i guess...

What, we can't debate whether you deserve to have a happy birthday or not? :p Just kidding! Happy Birthday!!
Hmm, when I was 7, I think I might have wanted to be a scientist. I used to pick up rocks to "study" them and put them in my mouth to clean them. Yeah, clearly scientist material there! gqtm!

Oh I wanted to be a rock star too, but then I found out I could get paid to be saucy and argue with people.

Happy Birthday :)

When I was 7 I was convinced I'd be a rock star. Well, I'll be signing autographs in my living room all week so, if you're interested....lol
