How would you handle this?

My husband was in a bit of a mood today, cheerful but down. He wrote me a poem and posted it on facebook!

Roses are red

Violets are blue

Your belly go fat

But mine did too

He then went to my sister's profile and wrote:

Roses are red

Violets are blue

Your tits are big

And so is your attitude

We laughed about it. I could have gotten mad, but he put himself as the butt as well, and it was all in good fun. We're both struggling with dieting (Mountain Dew is no more as of today...) and that was a part of it!

I'd be fuckin' pissed! And no - I don't have a stick up my ass at all - I just don't see why that would be something to post on FB for all to see.

Yeh..i dont need my hubby to tell me my stomach is fat especially not on facebook for all my friends and family to read. And if he commented on my sisters big tits he would be off her list and in my bad books until he redeemed himself.
I love to laugh and be silly with my hubby but that would hurt my feelings i think. I'm in a mood today.

yeah, I think my husband would have a little more respect for me, and know that that is not appropriate to be posting on anyone's fb. And, yeah it is fine to look, but don't let everyone know that he has noticed your sisters boobs... yeah, I think it was disrespectful, and he should think before posting something like that. Have him remove them both. And tell him why it bothers you.

If the first one was written to me, okay I would laugh at it, but the second one seems rude and I wouldn't want that posted if I was your sister.

I am very sensitive about the size of my belly and my husband knows that, so I don't think he'd even dream of posting something like that on FB. He knows I'd probably cry all day!
As for my sisters- neither of them have big titties, although one does have quite the 'tude. He's not the type to ever comment on their breasts though.

I think it depends on the personality of the people involved. If you are used to his sense of humor (or even share it) then no...there is no reason to get upset. I would think it was funny.

No dice with my sister though...she DOES have big boobs AND a big attitude... and she would tear him a new one.

Oh, my sister thought it was pretty hilarious! She was the first one to like it!

Nope, commenting on my sisters "tits" isn't the thing to do. Talking to me about my belly is one thing - and we do it, but to put it out there on FB, no thanks.

We have more class than that. and its LAUGH. not "laff" unless you're daffy duck.

Wow some ppls need to pull some sticks out! :0)

I would laff if my hubby did this. My sisters do have big boobs and big tudes, they would laff at that poem, but my sisters also treat my hubby no differently then their brother, so it would be just all in fun.

As for the tummy thing, he did put himself as the butt of the joke also, I dont think he did it to be hurtful, just silly. No biggy. Its not like he posted on her facebook, Hey you have a fat ass and your tummy is huge lose weight already. Come on if we cant laff at ourselves, how can we laff at other things in life?

i would be a little more than freaked out if he said that to my sister. but, that's me. maybe your sister and husband have a different dynamic than mine.

How would I "handle" this? Well, firstly, I'd be less than amused. It's one thing to put in a card that only you would read, but to put that on FB? No, that wouldn't fly in my house.

I would have made my husband delete those posts immediately, and he would be calling my sister to profusely apologize for his complete and utter lapse in judgement.

I don't think I would be to impressed with that in fact I would probably write something just as personal on his face book profile. You obviously have a strange sence of humour both of you so you are a match made in heaven. Personally I would of thrown a fit and he would be eatting the keyboard for dinner!

Personally I would laugh if my husband wrote that, because I'm 6 months pregnant. I would be annoyed that he noticed my sister's boobs though.

The first one wouldn't piss me off too much, although I wouldn't be overly impressed.

The 2nd one, would really piss me and my sister off! My husband wouldn't dare put anything like that on her wall though!

I wouldn't be very happy about this. It's hard to comment really because it's such a personal thing, stemming from your own relationship. I have a fat tummy and my hubby knows I am paranoid about it, so for me, I would feel very hurt if he wrote that comment on fb. As for your sister, he could have used a better rhyming word perhaps!

But like I said before it's a personal thing, if your not bothered then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

[deleted account]

If he wrote it and ghad it somewhere at home where i would come across it and read it all would be good. But to put it on FB wouldn't go down well with me.
