My son and I used to paint each other's nails all the time when he was little. (my feet just as much as my nails!) I also know lots of moms and even some dads that get into it, at least the toes...my exhusband's chiroprcator will testify to that. Lol The more colors, the more fun!

In my eyes, its okay to paint them rainbow colors if he wants it done. Who cares? Okay maybe remove it before Monday morning when he's about to go to school but that's only because kids can be mean.

I'm with Denikka - if he's up for it, why not? And again - if he's a baby/toddler who is likely to suck on his fingers, not a good idea.

I see no problem with it, as long as he's willing. I plan to do my little girls nails in the near ish future (she's 2 now, so maybe sometime in the next year. She loves getting her nails cut and whatnot, so I'm thinking about trying it). If my son (4yrs) wants his done too, I'll do them as well :P

Although, I would caution against putting nail polish on a very young child. If they're still at the stage where they constantly have their hands in their mouth, I wouldn't do it. It could end up coming off and being toxic to their system. You don't mention how old your son is, so I thought I should throw in that word of caution.
