New years resolutions anyone?

Hate them or make them?

I usually have monthly resolutions, but anything long term I've started will probably become a "resolution" just for the fun of it.

I don't make them...they don't really make much sense, if you want to quit something or change something or start doing something than do it. Why wait for a specific time of year to do it...and why let everyone and there mom know about it! Lol...

I've done a lot in 2010 and am pretty happy. I have goals for 2011, though I wouldn't call them resolutions. I am going to run my first half-marathon in May and I plan to lose another 40 pounds in 2011. I'd also like to get pregnant again, we'll see how it goes...

But really, I've never made a resolution that I really kept so it turns out to be disappointing and depressing so I avoid making them. All I ever hope for is that I continue to be a good mom. I know it's lame but it is what it is...

I plan to stop procrastinating... but maybe that one will have to wait until next year

I will be focusing on health and self sufficiency. I will be getting my butt back to the gym for good. I will be building wheeled gardens to feed my family. It is also the year for potty training *groan*

Other than that, business as usual.

I usually make one, but this year I'm happy with everything the way it is :) I guess that is something pretty big to be thankful for!

I have never made a new years resolution. If I need to make a change in my life I guess I just do it right away.

I like the idea of monthly resolutions.

Umm...Sometimes I make resolutions, sometimes I don't. Last year I wanted to be more organized. I've improved, but it's a continuous process, not something that is done on January 1st!

This year I'm going to continue with that. Plus I really want to cut the dependency on fast food. It's just too easy to go to a drive-through when I'm out running a ton of errands. Of course, cutting the fast food will take organization and planning...so it all ties together. I'm going strive to not eat any fast food the whole month of January. Then we'll go from there. I don't plan to cut it completely, but I think if I can make it a month, it will go a long way in stopping the bad habit.
