His name is Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda; his followers call him everything from apostle to Dad, or simply Jesus Christ Man. De Jesus Miranda himself believes he’s the living incarnation of “Jesus Christ Man,” “the second coming of Christ.”

A follower of his believes “he is God, he is God.” She also lavishes him with money and gifts.

"I don’t have one Rolex,” de Jesus Miranda said, “I have 3 because they want to give it to me. It's like that woman that came to Jesus with the expensive perfume and put it on his feet. He didn’t reject it, so when someone gives me a watch or a gift, I receive it. I like them too, they're nice."

He says there is no sin. He has over 100,000 followers.
I like the ‘no sin’ concept. He calls himself the ‘anti Christ’ because he so dislikes organized religions. He says the Christian religions use fear and hate to control the followers. He stands in opposition to that.

He doesn’t believe marriage lasts forever. He drinks, he smokes, he laughs and plays. He says life is about having fun, living in joy.
He wears a 666 tattooed on his arm as a protest to the Christian church.

Now, remember, when the original Jesus came to Earth, and let’s say for the sake of this discussion that he did, not many really liked him. He didn’t have many followers. Many yelled at him, made fun of him. He was arrested, he was jailed, he was killed.

Where this fellow really lost me though, was with the statement about a big even soon to happen. Only his followers, folks with a 66 tat, will be saved.

That teaching seems to stand in opposition to all of his other teachings.

So, anyone heard of this fellow? What do you think?

Well, I like the no sin idea, as it jives with my ideas. I can see how people are drawn in by him ... kind of Jim Jones, with a really nice watch.

But, 100,000 followers? Wow

He's right.... sounds like the antiChrist.....

Have I heard of him? Nope. What do I think? Scary, sad, and disturbing. I hope he's not conning anyone out of their money or going to convince them to kill themselves or others....
