I say i was tired but hubby swears hung over what do you think??
Last weekend I had a girls night at a friends house and had a number of drinks ( can't tell the number I ran out of fingers...lol) the following morning my husband laughter at me and said I was hung over as I was a bit seedy..... Now that all seems pretty straight forward but I have never had a hangover in my life no matter what I got up to the night before so I told him it was lack of sleep .... He just laughted and said how could I lack sleep when he works night shift .... I think over that weekend I managed about 5 hours per night between kids trying to get cooking done for 2 things and house work and washing finished as my son was on a weeks trip with the school and so. We could go first thing Monday morning after dropping my son off for his school trip... And getting up at 3am to collect him from work sat and sun mornings as I needed our car to go to a party and collect my son from a night out.... Then up at 5.30am monday to get to the bus....and he said I cant be tired because I dont work nIght shift.....

I say hangover and lack of sleep :)
I have this same conversation with my husband, just in reverse, all the time. He never seems to be hang over just tired. Me on the other hand, I don't drink enough to be hangover and I like it that way. Had enough hangovers in my life, I don't need to suffer anymore haha

I think it could be both. I was stunned the first time i got a hangover. Like you, I could drink as much as I wanted and never be hungover the next day, then gradually during my late 20's I started to get hangovers. At first, I only felt a bit dehydrated and might have a headache if I hadn't gotten much sleep, but by my 29th birthday, I got them full on.

I've learned that if I drink a glass of water between each drink while I'm drinking, I don't get hungover anymore, no matter how much I drink :) It's hard to drink a glass of water though, so I just keep one floating around and take sips as I go.

Lack of sleep AND hungover. I hate when I stay up late and then have to get up at 5 or through the night to the kids. I woke up this morning with a raging headache and I have no idea whether it was hungover (from 3 drinks yeah right) or just going to bed late when I'm used to going early.
