I am just very curious to find out if I am the only one to experiance loosing weight during thier pregnancy. My doctor said it all fine and hasn't affected the baby who is growing. But somehow I have managed to loose 7 kilos (15pounds), I haven't figured out exactly how yet, but is there anyone else who lost instead of picked up.

Ok then my having lost 10 kg or 22 pounds is not so bad as long as the baby is growing.

I lost weight during my first trimester due to morning sickness. I was underweight to begin with, so even though I only lost 9 pounds it was a little worrisome for my doc. I was hospitalized briefly, but all was well once the morning sickness passed. I lost weight again during my last month, but my doc said that was very normal and was not concerned.

I lost chunks of weight (roughly 10-15lbs) during the first 6-7 months of all three of my pregnancies. It wasn't until the last few weeks that I started to put on ANY weight at all, and then it was pretty much just what I had already lost (about 10-15lbs). If you're a little overweight, it's really not a big deal at all. As long as you're not just shedding weight like crazy, you're fine :)
If you're at a healthy weight or underweight though, it can be a little worrisome. But you say that your doctor is not concerned, so I wouldn't worry too much. As long as baby is healthy, look at the weight loss as a little perk that most moms don't get to experience. You'll probably start putting on a bit of weight closer to the end of your pregnancy. Just keep eating healthy and staying active. Be healthy and you and baby will be just fine :)
