I saw this picture tonight on Fashion Police and was thinking how unfreakish she looked.

Myself, now that I am back down to the size Marina says I should kiss her ass for, I notice that my face has aged quite a bit in the last three years of pregnancy and early motherhood. When I'm a bit chubbier, I don't have as many small lines.

At some point, I think the saying goes, you have to choose between your ass and your face? Seriously, for her putting a touch of weight on helps her look younger.

Sadly, I actually thought losing that weight would make me feel younger too....nope....still getting older even if I'm not crazy about it.

Jodi, an AU size 12 is a US size 8. You're NOT fat! I'm fat! Unfortunately, I do think you're right about 40 changing your body shape. I find it so much harder to move the weight now that I'm over 40. But you haven't changed all that much if you've gone from 10 to 12-14. To me that's THIN! (I'm currently an AU size 16. Just. Yuk!)

I honestly simply pitty her. To be so pretty but be enslaved to that beauty is a painful place to be.

Krista, I spent most of my adult life in a 8-10. I now have size 12-14 (Australian Sizes) and I feel big. I keep telling myself I need to diet better (no idea how, because I eat pretty well) and exercise more (yeah, I could do a bit more of that), but I also think that at my age, I'm probably supposed to change shape a bit.....it's just taking a little getting used to.

No, an AU size 12 is definitely not fat...good lord, woman!

I can see where you're coming from, though. I used to be a US size 10-12, not all that long ago. And while I didn't feel "fat", I certainly didn't feel thin and body-confident, either.

Of course, now that I'm a size 18, I'd give my eyeteeth to be back down to a size 10.

Oh, it is so NICE to hear that an AU size 12 is not fat....because I DO feel fat these days. I was always an 8-10 and then hit 40.... :\

I tank it's interesting to hear that someone who has always looked thin would also have the same flaw that almost every woman has. She IS human!

Okay, I LOVE that dress and want it hanging in my closet by the weekend (she wishes on a star). That would be the best motivator for me to stay on the diet wagon I keep falling off of.

Incidentally, I was in US single digits before kids and often would feel fat. But that's an AU size 12 so not fat, but was still a little chunky around the hips.

Her most recent ex-husband said she was all gristle and elbows (or something like that). Most men seem to prefer a bit of softness, and certainly women who wish to carry babies to term do better if they have a bit of fat stored.

Madonna is a wanker!!! I honestly can not stand her I really wish she would just out some damn clothes on and start acting her age, sounds like shes just attention seeking to me she knows shes not fat.

Most celebrities are the same way; complaining about themselves, making changes to their bodies, dieting when they don't exactly need to. Nothing new IMO.

I think she looks better than she has in years. For awhile, there, she was all stringy and sinewy, and it just wasn't a good look for her. Even if you're slender, it's nice to have SOME flesh on your bones.

And yeah, I'm with Marina...anybody wearing single-digit sizes, who says they're fat, can blow me.

1) **ALL** women feel fat on occasion
2) Who cares what Madonna says or does or thinks?

That's what I never get. why do celebrities get such attention for saying such mundane things?

I'd love to slap her one! Fat really? My leg wouldn't even fit in that dress, let alone my WHOLE body, shit.

All woman have fat days..maybe even a fat week lol..i know i do and i am healthy and slim.

Its the best i have seen her look in a long time. She has lost muscle tone, come on did you see the way she used to look..i did not like the veiny muscle look she had going on.So since she sees less muscle etc she feels to herself she looks less toned=fat in her mind.I think she looks drop dead gorgeous, a real lady.

I understand at my thinnest I feel quite fat and unattractive and at my chunkiest I often feel wonderful until I realize I can't fit into anything.

She's old and she doesn't like that, so she's trying to find something about her to change maybe to feel young again. Just my opinion. Anyway to say she's fat is crazy.

Actually, I am a fan of Madonna...yup...I was totally into her music growing up. I think she made a fun statement....got a bit sexual...but hell I was old enough to handle it. I love her, and think she is fabulous. Her daughter created a line of clothing, and is very driven by 80's fashion.

Madonna is a DRAMA queen. She always finds away to put herself in the media. She is such an idiot.

Another reason to not like Madonna....as if I needed more.
It's wonderful that she's being a good role model and teaching young girls that even if you're thin and fit, you should be thinner....lovely.

Seriously, if I could even get into that dress, let's just say I would not feel fat. Maybe that would finally motivate me to do it.

Anyone that can fit into a size 6 or smaller and says they are fat can kiss my fat ass.
