Music and my grandchildren

My heart breaks when I see my daughter and husband taking their 5 year old to a country music concert and encouraging him because he loves Florida Georgia Line and they think it's cute cause he watches their videos and loves their music. What can I do because I feel like he is being brain washed now and is too young to know right from wrong. We decided at that age of our children to transfer over to Christian music because we know the great influence music can have. We wanted to do everything possible to introduce Jesus to our children at a young age. What do you think?

I am not familiar with country music, so I am not sure if there is anything inappropriate for a five year old by this particular band, but I have fed my kid a steady diet of classic rock and metal since he was a kid. The result? Fabulous taste in music. I think it is a parent's call. Also whether or not they want to push religion on their child, their call again. Just as you made those calls when you were the parent you have to respect your child's right to make that call for their child. I have a grandchild myself, and sometimes I have to bite my tongue when I disagree with something his parents do. But it is not my right, nor my place to interfere.

You should have him listen to that music at your house and let his parents choose what he listens to at their house. Teach him there are different rules at different houses. Country music is clean music and there's nothing wrong with kids going to those concerts. I don't see any problem with him going to Florida Georgia Line. Yes I'm a country music girl.
