I'm 22. Up until high school I had to be home by the street lights unless I was at a sleepover. High school it depended on what I was doing. No friends during the week, weekends I was able to go to sleep overs, but I just remember it depended on the friend. Then at 18 I had to be home no later than midnight unless I called and they knew where I was and what I was doing and who with.

I never had bedtime... but that's probably because I usually go to bed at a decent time anyways

I would say there isn't enough discipline but I will say is if she is open with you she will come to you about drinking or drugs before she does them. I think it's a little late to start a bed time, but it's not too late to start a curfew.
If she's a good student and isn't disrespectful to you or other family members I would set a later curfew.. if she is showing signs of bad behavior I wouldn't allow her out past 9 or 10.

Plus my parents always told me when I tried to stay out with friends late when I was 15..16..or 17...

Good Luck!

No my 16 year old son, and my 14 year old daughter, 12 year old son and 10 year old son all have a set bedtime routine and bedtime. 16 year old and 14 year old are in their rooms by 8:30 lights out at 9. My 12 and 10 year olds are in their rooms by 8pm and 8:30 lights out. 16 and 14 year olds can go out with friends but must be home by 7pm

Definitely NO. Bedtime, eat and drink, what and whenever she want is not discipline, she need it, specially at this age.

the fact that you are asking this question, means you know it is not right. unless you WANT her to get into trouble.
