I am a mother of 3, 4yr old boy, 3yr old girl, and a 3 month old. I am over weight and need to lose. What are your secrets? Lets give each other support because I know that I am not the only one who has this goal.

I have just gotten really fat. :) lol I can admit it. I was around 300 lbs back in October of 2010. I am not about 255 and still losing. I don't do much different. I eat what I want when I want but I eat only when I am truly hungry and I eat portion controlled meals. (appropriate sizes) I am down to a size 20 from a 26 and still losing. I want to be at least 200lbs by June or smaller. :)

I LOVE to dance. If I couldn't dance, no way would I look like I do. Find something active you love doing and put your heart into it. I also don't drink pop or eat fast food. I lost 40 pounds in less than 6 months. I thought that was good.

I'm on an elliptical for an hour per day, minimum. I try to add up everything I will eat that day and burn it all off, not necessarily all at once, but periodically throughout the day I hop back on the machine.

We're vegetarians, we cut our cheese consumption down, at least 70%, we cut back on sweets severely, We pay attention to sat fats, which cuts out most of the really unhealthy food. My boyfriends been doing this for a while. He's lost 60 pounds, looks all buff and pretty. I started a few weeks ago, have lost 10 pounds and 2 inches off my belly. Chewing gum helps me with munchies.

I have a very long way to go, but hopefully it keeps coming off this quickly for a while.

We switched from using the dinner plates with our dish set, to using the desert plates as standard. We were eating portion sizes that were right on target! My husband lost almost 40 lbs doing this and not anything else, he didn't excercise, or quit drinking soda or go low cal or anything like that. I lost 10 lbs, but then I got pregnant so I have no idea lol. Although, I have only gained 10 lbs with this pregnancy, and maybe that's part of the reason why? (I should mention, I lost 10 lbs in a little over a month, by husband has lost 40 lbs in about 8ish months)

I'm concerned about post pregnancy for myself. I gained th perfect target weight during my first pregnancy, breastfed, continued my healthy diet and stayed active, but for some reason, I packed on about 50 lbs??? I'm hoping this time around, post pregnancy, I can somehow manage to NOT gain back a ton of weight. *cross my fingers!*

Well I have no idea if it will work - just had my first baby on the 6th - but my plan is to exercise like crazy and eat right and maybe i'll lose what i gained during my pregnancy. i gained about fifty pounds, it was horrible D: but hopefully i can get myself back down to my high school weight. that'd be awesome.

my diet is all fruits and vegetables, always has been. i also try not to eat servings bigger than the size of my fist. that shrank my stomach when i was trying to lose weight for high school. i have a little bit of meat, but it's only chicken. i rode my bike every day, two miles a day at least, and walked and did 150 crunches/push-ups a day. my tummy was soooo flat!! i miss it :'(

good luck to you on your goal! may we both be successful in accomplishing them!
