Aila Freedom Born May 7th 2005, at home weighing 7 lbs 4 ounces turns six today!
I am so proud of her, she just landed a singing and acting role in the musical "willy wonkas chocolate factory", she is such a helpful, smiley little girl and I am so blessed to have such wonderful kids. She is my youngest daughter and is growing up to be such a wonderful, helpful, empathetic little lady.
I love her.
:)
p.s. this is not a debate.

Tara- That's so cool! I should do that with my daughter, she would love it. She's really outgoing and doesn't have a shy bone in her body. She loves singing, dancing and ballet. My boy is a totally different story. He's so cute and cuddly but is a total momma's boy and shy. It's funny how 2 siblings that are so close in age can be so different. Ava is 4 and Jadyn is 3.
Last Christmas time we were approached by a talent scout at the mall. Ava was singing and dancing around like ususal and this lady came up to us and gave me her card and ask me to call her to set something up, that they interview the child and mom and take pics and see how it goes then if it goes well they can consider casting. I'm not about to uproot my kids to Hollywood and make her the next (God forbid) Lindsay Lohan but I thought it was really nice and a huge compliment to be approached like that so I called and took her in. Everything was great up until we were getting ready for the pics. It was going to be like a mini photo shoot and they would give me copies of everything. So...she was in the make up chair and I'm sitting across the room watching and see something strange going on...this lady was heating wax to wax my 4 year olds eyebrows!!! And to top it off she didn't even ask me! I was like 'oh no you don't, what's going on'. She said that Ava would never get jobs with her eyebrows that thick and they needed to be thinned out. I was stunned. After all I really just took her bc it was a cool compliment and was 'one for the books'. What it came down to is that I said 'No, thank you' and we left.
Sorry Tara, I got kind of carried away and long winded on your post! So that was our experience. Could you imagine waxing your 4 year old???

Well they are homeschooled, but this is a local theatre production. They all love to sing, dance and act. So this is a triple threat production and includes all three disciplines of performing arts.
Her two sisters both got roles too! They're all so excited. They love theatre!!
It's done out of the local theatre by a professional play write, they have voice coaches, acting classes and a dance/choreographer as well. It's a professional production, by The Hub performing arts group. In June they will perform at the Rene Caisse Memorial Theatre in front on an audience of potentially 500 people!!
:) thanks for the birthday wishes, it's as much my celebration of life as it is hers. :)

Happy Birthday Aila! : ) That sounds awesome about her singing and acting role. Is this a school play or a professional type thing?
