I would bet the first place this will be tested on humans is in the military. They already do mind control experiments and forced desensitization techniques to diminish the emotional impact of killing someone. This would only further their ability to control their armies, if all combat soldiers were to be given this drug we would have a large problem in my opinion.

It's pretty scary that science has advanced this far. I imagine if someone wanted to they could use the information for wrong doing.

Wow, I hadn't thought about that... This makes it so much worst...

It would just bring our world to another level of evil... World sized slaughterhouse, anyone? Without fear, there would be more wars on a bigger scale...

On the other hand, the absence of fear might also curb the effect of "scare tactics" used by our governments and the media. No fear of conspiracy, no fear of being attacked by everything that has a heartbeat... this is a huge can of worms to open IMO.

My first thought is war. If they have soldiers that have no fear.....Oh boy.

ugh... Don't mess with nature, that's all I can say on that one. We experience fear for a reason and I think it's completely irresponsible to mess with that.
