Not Guilty?

I feel that the media had no effect on the outcome of Casey Anthony trial. The jurors made their decision and we have to accept. I was totally shocked over the outcome however, Casey is the only one who knows what happened to her little girl and chose not to take the stand for Caylee.

I totally agree with you. I can remember the day they found Caylee's body, I was at work watching it on the news with my boss and I remember I started crying. Not that I thought they were going to find her alive, but it was still very sad. I was very shocked at the verdict as well, and when the 1st 3 counts were read and the verdict given, I believe I kind of yelled, NO WAY! I have been watching this since July of 2008. So, as the day went on yesterday, I reminded myself that this is the same justice system that found OJ Simpson not guilty in 1994. That the jury could only find her guilty if there was no doubt in their minds. So, without any real "hard" evidence pertaining to the murder charge, they made their decision. What I don't understand is, why they did not find her guilty on any kind of child abuse. It was clear that she did not search for her child or report her missing for at least a month. In my eyes, that is abuse/neglect/endangerment.

Unfortunately, she will probably get time served, and walk on Thursday Morning at 9am. It is a very sad world we live in, in which a child can be missing for so long, be found deceased, and noone is held responsible for any of it.

Well IMO, society will seek justice. She is going to have a very hard time out in the world.
