I work, so other people decide what I do with my time :( If I have a day off though for something other than running errands (rare if ever) I like to read and go through my cookbooks to find cool new recipes to try.

When I was a kid, I kinda still am! We used to make our own board games. We would spend Sunday afternoon (after Sunday Routine---cleaning the house) playing with old board games and creating new games with all of the mix matched pieces we had. It was A LOT of fun....My brothers and I would take turns making up the rules and my Dad would act as referee! We needed a ref. most of the time! My favorite to this day is "Riskopoly"....

oohhhh Katie has a great idea. We have a family movie night here. Every Friday we have a movie or board game. If they choose a board game we order food, if they choose a new release movie - they get whatever is in the fridge!

I'm online WAAYYY to much too. I also read a lot, walk a lot, and watch a ridiculous amount of movies (our collection is nearing 1000 dvds that it has its own insurance!)
What about movie/game night with your girls? Something for you to look forward too...I also love to play the wii...they have plenty of games that are fun and very low impact...
I'm sorry you have gone through so much in the last little while. I hope you find something soon :) Good luck .x.

oh there are ways to get around that :) all you need is a little tripod (i have one that is bendy, so you can attach it to anything and put your camera on any angle you want), and then you just need a little remote that will trigger your camera. i found one for my camera (a canon) on ebay. it is wireless and even has a 2-sec delay option. it was only about $20 because it is not the canon brand remote, but was still made specifically for my camera type.
i really hope that you do find something that you can do :) i would be going stir crazy in your position, i hate doing nothing! lol
now i'm trying to think of other things for you to do...can you swim? take up kite flying? get a part time job as a telemarketer? lol. or you could just go to the mall and ppl watch ( i love doing that haha)
best wishes!

try scrapbooking, it doesn't take fine motor skills or balance!
or take up photography, when you are looking thru the viewfinder, you are only using one eye anyways :)

My internet is up just about 24/7 although I keep normal hours 5am to 10pm because of the animals.

I work around the house & property and when I pop into the house for drinks or to change over the laundry I take 15 min to see whats new on the internet.

I read. LOTS. My husband is convinced that we are going to die in our sleep when the mountain of books on our head board collapses. He's boxed most of them and built shelves and bought shelves and the collection is still growing up there. It doesn't help that I can read a 700 page book in a day. Well a day where I do jack crap but eat, read and um other things.

Cross stitch. I love cross stitching! Sometimes I buy tiny all in one kits for something to do.

Currently I'm working on our family vacation scrap book. I've had to edit 3000 pictures and whittled them down to 400 to go into the book(s). Its going to be to big to go in one album...

The pets and yard animals require a lot of my time though. Retraining poorly trained dumped dogs is another one of my chores.

Now that summer is over I have to chauffer the kids to soccer & football practice, plus school and other extra curricular activities.

For cheap books half.com and amazon and resale shops. I've decided I can't afford to keep buying new releases so I'm visiting some OLD authors from well, a long time ago like piers anthony and robert asprin. its been fun revisiting my youth via the books!

I'm TRYING to fit in a work out. I don't have any sustained work to do, its all low key and in 15 to 20 min spurts and it shows on my hips!

I read a lot. A LOT. Probably too much....

Other than that, my life is pretty boring. I've pretty much been ab;e to make my house the central hub of activity though, so most of trhe time, it's just coffee or brunches / lunches/ dinners with friends that are willing to come here. It's hard for me to get out with both the kids....it's much easier to stay here where my son is most comfortable and in familliar surroundings.
