Just reading some of the simplest questions people ask, and what people post about the subject. I feel as though people are getting ruder and ruder. People ask a question and totally get reamed out about it. A few months ago it seems you were able to have a nice debate with no put downs at all and now it seems all I read on every page is "Thats ridiculous" "You let your baby do what?" "Why would you even post such a dumb question" Is it just me or dose it seem like this new bright orange COM is making people go crazy and start getting really rude?

See, Ashley -- sometimes things get a little crazy, but really, at the end of the day, we ARE all here for each other. Even if there's someone who might have been "ganged up on" in one post, if she were to later put up a post saying, "Help me - X and Y are happening with my kid and I don't know what it means!", we'd all be there, offering suggestions and helping as best as we could. It can get a little rough-and-tumble here, but when you really come down to it, we're all moms, just trying the best we can.

I don't think this is particularly new to COMs, but it seems we go through cycles...peaks and valleys...

Did I miss the birth control talking window?

I haven't been on birth control in 5 years and 4 months..... of course, I also haven't had sex in the last 2.5 of those years....

It's like red to a bull. BAHAHAHA. Everyone is like "omg i don't judge how other people raise their kids" yet spanking is allegedly abuse, CIO is evil and the list goes on.

I think that people are starting to get a little rude, and I also understand that it is a debate forum, however, debate does not mean to put people down and tell them what is right and wrong, it means to voice your opinions, and give back up facts about your opinions.

Yeah I figured out that's why my BC failed earlier in the year. I work in a GP surgery and was reading some drug company pamphlet while having my morning coffee. Imagine my surprise when they listed the brief window as a major 'con' for the mini-Pill lol.

I've heard it depends on the person, some people are fine on it and not at as much risk, but since i'm so uber paranoid about it, I have a beeping alarm on my cell phone to remind me. I mean, I wouldn't mind if it failed, but the husband might not be so thrilled.. As I said I don't trust any hormonal birth control worth a damn, but i'd suggest reading that frequently forgotten paper inside the box, it'll tell you what the window is on your kind, Mostly it's just not getting my period that scares the crap out of me, everytime I have indigestion my mind goes "oh oh".

OMG Caitlin - that ' tiny pill that if I take 2 hours late might increase my risk of pregnancy' is why I have my daughter lol. Obviously I knew to take all Pills 'at the same time each day' (which to me means, always breakfast or bedtime etc) but I didn't realise the window was so small with the mini-Pill. I'd been on it for YEARS (the others give me headaches) and nobody ever mentioned this magical 2hrs. I always took mine at bedtime, but atleast once or twice a week that bedtime would be outside the 2hrs. I'm surprised I didn't get pregnant years ago lol.

That old spice guy is great.. Always makes me laugh. As for birth control, I hate the stuff, don't trust it worth a darn, though it's always worked for me. I'm on the mini-pill and breastfeeding, still haven't had a period since giving birth like 6 months ago and I've taken a pregnancy test every 2 months, because I just have no faith in a tiny pill that if I take 2 hours late might increase my risk of pregnancy.. *sigh*

Yeah, this post is like one of those nights when you go out and don't plan to do anything particularly special, and you wind up at the GREATEST party.

LMFAO ladies you are hilarious. Makes my day. I'm only drinking coffee. But it is only 7:30 in the morning.
I'm on the pill and have been since I was 15. As soon as I went off the moment I got married I got preggos twice in 6 months ( yes I had a miscarriage) So I love it. But I totally understand the ladies that dont.

Keep makeing me laugh ladies. I'm so glad I wrote this post :)

Talk about determination in sperm. I have a unicornuate uterus, meaning I have two separate sides of a uterus and my left side isn't connected to my cervix. I was told I couldn't get pregnant in the left side. Well turns out that I'm a 1 in 80,000 chance of that happening, when my condition is already a 1 in 320,000 chance as it is. So, my husbands sperm traveled up my cervix, through the right uterus, through the fallopian tube, the right ovary, through the left ovary, the left fallopian tube and into the left uterus! When I had 3 different doctors talk to me about it all, one of them actually gave a fist pump to my husband. lol

Ahhh, Cindy - welcome! Yes, things can deteriorate quickly, but you'll notice it's typically the same ones over and over again who cross the line from a difference of opinion to childish bickering and insults. If nothing else, it provides for entertainment on a boring day not unlike cheesy reality TV =)

It seems like the Obama thread may be heading down the CoM cat fight path as I type....

Lindsay and Loreen, that is SOOO not good news to me. I'm now on the pill for the 1st time EVER. It's only been 3 days and I hate it. I loved, loved, loved my IUD. I am also over-fertile, my oldest was a depo baby, and our youngest, I had my IUD pulled, didn't even have a period and I was pregnant in 2 weeks. My husband wants to get clipped, but I'm not ready to close that part of our life yet.

I had two "the pill" babies too, Loureen. I love my mirena and haven't had any issues with it at all. Hopefully your overly fertile body handles it like my overly fertile body!

Y'all are as nuts as ever.

This is quick 'cause I need to get the kids from school. First week back is driving me nuts.

Boobies, my boobies didn't get that big with any of my pregnancies. With our oldest they went up two sizes to a DD from a C. That was bad enough, I feel for those of you with ginormo boobies.

I didn't bleed all that much with the first 3, 2-3 weeks with each. Our last though I though I would have to reschedule our 6 week check up but it stopped just days before it. That freaked me out, I didn't know it could last that long.

As for the Welcome Page and Young Mom's, I haven't frequented either in awhile. I gotta admit though before they cracked down it was kind of funny watching all the crazies go at each other. =)

Krista why don't you get a marker and write m, t, w, th, f,sa, su on the pills I would because it would piss me right off to have to keep going from the top mon tue wed just to work out if I had taken the pill that day (thank god back in the day mine had the day on them).

Onto boobies I have mahoosive boobies they were a lovely size E before I became pregnant and now I'm in a GG cup - 10 months after having my son! - I kind of want them to go smaller now they get in the way a little bit even though I did always want big boobies (and I have lost all my pregnancy weight so I can't blame that).

I kind of feel a little abnormal I only bled for 2 weeks after having my son. I can't believe some of you ladies bled for 7 weeks that would have seriously sucked.

On the op I tend to find the rudest ladies are on the welcome page - I actually had one lady pm me to tell me that she believed in marriage and so a girl should leave her b/f because (she felt - not the actual girl wanting help) he was useless. I had advised this girl to speak to her b/f and see if the relationship could be saved because she wanted to stay with her b/f. THAT pissed me off do not tell me you believe in marriage yet as soon as the waters get rough jump ship DO NOT PM ME WITH THAT CRAP! - That is downright rude. I agree with one of the ladies (I can't remember who) who said that the rudest people are the ones who lack knowledge!
