"Victoria Police could charge two brothers over the creation of a Facebook page used to humiliate teens.

The Herald Sun newspaper reports police are preparing a brief of evidence against two Bendigo men, aged 24 and 21, who allegedly set up a page where youths as young as 13 were rated after sexual encounters.

The paper reports the men have been interviewed and police could lay charges for using an "online information service to publish, transmit or make available for transmission, objectionable material".

It said Facebook closed down the web page after about three days, by which time police had contacted its administrators.

Legal experts described the move as significant and said they expected more cases involving social networking sites."

Um your just (possibly) charging them with for using an "online information service to publish, transmit or make available for transmission, objectionable material".??? What about Child Molestation? Last time I checked 13 wasn't a legal age anywhere in Australia to be having "sexual encounters". Reading further, I suppose as it wasn't them they can't be charged with anything more. Shame.

I believe so Becky, from what I can gather they emailed these two bright sparks who then posted the emails on their page.

I hope they can be charged with molestation.

That's disgusting! Did anyone actually rate anyone using this site? Can they charge people who did rate young boys with molestation?
