Now I'm all for kds playing with dolls but IMO dolls that eat green slime and then poop it into diapers is disturbing!
Do you need to keep buying disp diapers or something?
Seriously baby doll needs to use cloth!
Would you buy this doll?

You should've tried duct tape Jodi, everything is fixable with duct tape. Or so my dad tells me.

Teresa, it was funny to watch too, because she had to hold it on an angle over its potty......I cracked up the first time I saw it. Unfortunately the leg wasn't fixable, but she found a way to still use it.

@ Mary, I remember Baby Chrissy - I had one of those !!! And my Baby Alive was used as Baby Jesus in the Church Christmas Pageant one year, I remember that :P

Anyway, yes, dolls that poop have been around forever. Taylah had a Baby bjorn. She didn't know it pooped, and I just hid the food that you feed her to make her poop. It was enough that she was able to feed her a bottle and get her to pee in her nappy. At least with the water, we were able to just dry the nappies out to reuse. There was no WAY I was going to allow the poop - the nappies for those dolls are bloody expensive (more than the ones you buy for real babies!!!!)

So that worked until she broke the doll's leg off - then it started peeing out its leg socket,......

If kids want to play with poop they can clean my carpet. My 7 month old's diaper leaked and she ended up pooping on the rug!

Brittany it could be worse. Barbie has a dog that you feed and it poops then you feed it the poop! The food looks like poop because it's supposed to be poop.

I do not buy dolls for my daughter because, she does not play with them. She likes stuffed animals.

Recently I have noticed more and more pooping toys. Have you all seen the commercial of the Dog "Board" Game. You feed him, pump his tail, and he poops.

IMO they are teaching kids it is ok to play with poop. Where there is an outbreak of pink eye, we know where to turn!

Baby Alive has been around forever. I had one when I was little...and I'm 41! I loved her, and she is one of those toys from childhood that I vividly remember, although nowhere nearly as much as I loved Baby Crissy (you pulled a string in her back and her hair grew!)

Someone gave my daughter a Baby Alive doll for her 2nd birthday. I have to admit, I find her a bit creepy (it's her eyes) and rather reminiscent of Chucky. I'm half afraid that she will come to life one night and stab us all while we sleep!

Molly really did like her a lot in the beginning. We only fed her once, and that was enough for me! The rest of her "food" went in the trash. Giving her a bottle with plain old water is fine, though, and Molly seemed to like that better anyway. I never bought new diapers for her, and Molly figured out on her own to just stick a dish towel under her bum when she "fed" her.

My daughter isn't huge on dolls, so after about the the first month or so, she sort of fell to the wayside, although she does still drag her out every so often. Even though I think she's a little creepy, I have to remind myself that it's not about what I like or want to play with, but rather, what she likes, and where her imagination takes her.

My neighbour had one and we used to feed it anything we could get our hands on. It even ate seaweed and a bit of an oyster that we smashed open with a fishing weight (my cat ate the rest). Mmmm...

I had that doll when i was 7 or 8. I loved it, and my mum made me cloth nappies for it, so I'd wash them and hang them on my little clothes line. Mum wouldn't buy me more of the special baby food sachets so i fed the doll sand and mushed up petals and she never pooped again.
My son has a doll where water goes in his mouth and comes out the penis. Jack thinks its hilarious and tries to make it wee on his sister.

I had a baby alive when I was little and I loved it! But after the food ran out I was only allowed to give it water because mum wouldn't buy any more, and I only had a cloth nappy for it. Isobel has cloth nappies for her dolls (they don't wee and poo) she loves trying to change their nappies. If she was interested in a baby alive when she is older I would contemplate it, but I probably wouldn't buy more food for it either. Baby alive had white food, the green slime is pretty gross!

My 7 year old doesn't need one of those. She has a 7 month old sister and a cat. If she wants to play with something that poops, she can either change a diaper or clean out the litter box.

I had a Baby Alive when I was little. I never even considered buying one for the girls though and they are PAST the doll stage now. If they wanted a baby that poops.... they got a baby brother when they were 6. ;) lol
