This is just sad…that in this day in age the (year 2010) its like this!!!

So many families destroyed yesterday all because people are so closed mined and childish…are they not “grown” ups at work??!!

This makes me think "Be careful what you say to people,"!

I didn't get any inking of racism when I read the article, but whatever the reason, my strongly held belief is that NO killing sprees are acceptable, racist or otherwise.

I'm also not convinced this was racially motivated and now we'll never know - although with everyone in power predominately white and with a great deal to lose - the motivation for coverup is strong.

This was planned - he went to that meeting with a gun. Not looking good for his case - yes he's dead, I know.

Maybe he was stealing beer to get some of his own back because no one was taking complaints seriously - I don't know.

He didn't even get fired! He was asked to resign because he was caught (on tape) stealing beer. An article I read said the union has no record whatsoever of him making any complains about racist remarks.

im not entirely convinced it has to do with race either-he got fired cause he was stealing beer. i'm sure that all of the racist comments didn't help the matter, but i don't think those comments alone made him do what he did. it was a series of events that made this guy snap.

either way those people should be ashamed of the way they behaved-however killing them is unnecessary, and uncalled for. would've been better if he would'e gotten them fired for harassment, and hate speech and then they would've been fucked.and proved his point a lot more.

this article sounds like a lot of hear-say is being regurgitated on paper... The reporter has no clue what happened and no one is commenting on the events. I think the guy might have been unstable and snapped after being fired. He might have had a mental illness that was not diagnosed. No mentally healthy person would do such a thing. I don't think it had to do with race, I think it had to do with a series of events in this guy's life that eventually made him flip.

I'm not entirely convinced it was a racial issue. I'm hedging my bets and going to wait to see what becomes of the story.

If he really did file a complaint someone who would a paper trail of it. Especially if it was filed with both the union and the company.
