I am online snooping around for Christmas ideas and while I am finding some useful ideas, I am also finding some well funny things to.

I was on Amazon and found Party Pooper Fake Human Poop. While this many not be funny in some homes, we are always playing jokes on each other around this house.

What are some funny or creative gifts you all have received or given before?

What about gifts that have been a hit for different age groups?

Thanks ladies!

Sara, have you looked for Snowman poop instead? It's just mini marshmallows. Not as fun as a marshmallow gun, but a lot more appreciated by the SILs

There are reindeer noses too. You can probably look everything up on Amazon.

I really wanted to buy all my nieces and nephews marshmallow shooters (like a nerf gun that shoots marshmallows) this year. But then I thought if I got them one, I'd have to get my daughter one, so she can play with the other kids at our family Christmas party. Then I thought that I really don't want my daughter to have a marshmallow gun. And if I don't want my daughter to have one, I'm sure my SILs wouldn't want their kids to have one either. So there went that idea!

I'm still toying around with the idea, though, because I know the kids would love them.

Last year my girls favorite gift (at that moment) was a cheap little plastic loom that was kind of a last minute thought gift as I was walking down the art supply aisle. They thoroughly enjoyed it... for about a month. Their ultimately used and favorite gift would be the 'how to draw' books. That was last year at 9.

My son's ultimate favorite gift would be the little 'cowboy guitar' that I got him 2 Christmases ago (so a bit over 1.5 years old). He still plays it on an almost daily basis. He's looking forward to being 5ish which is when I told him he will get a REAL (but smaller sized) guitar.

Not sure on any funny or creative gifts for Christmas. One year for his birthday I bought my uncle a funny 'cheapskate' birthday card and didn't sign it so that he could reuse it. ;) That card got passed around to every family member for 3-4 years on their birthday from whoever it was that had the birthday before them. lol

Oh man, fake human poop. I might send that to my mom!

I haven't played many jokes involving gifts in my family unless you count the gift box. I had a Victoria Secret gift box that I left back at my parents. The year my brother had his now wife over at our place for Christmas eve was the first time I used it. I didn't have many shirt boxes in the first place and instead put the new shirt I bought for him in the box. He opened it infront of his soon to be fiancee and shouted 'Meg! Of all the boxes in the world why did you have to use that one?' I replied 'Because I didn't have all the boxes in the world. I only had that one.'

I've also used panty liner boxes to give gifts.
