The link above talks about the correlation between food dyes, cancer and adhd. The link below says there is no scientific proof of the long term effects.

There are many more links talking about wether or not these facts are true. I feel the closer to nature you are with food, the better it is for you. I wish there was a way to ban these dyes in the US. It looks like England is taking a step in the right direction. I am convinced...I will be trying to get food coloring out of my cupboards. What have you heard, and what is your take on this issue??

Do you feel that the dye in your kids food could be linked to the excessive diagnosis' of adhd? And also linked to cancer? It is proven some of these dyes are carcinogens...why put that in your food?

Didn't read the article yet, didn't have time, but I don't like foods with food colouring unless its natural (vegetable based colourings). Sometimes I can't avoid it, and when i'm making a special cake or whatever, i'll use colouring for my icing (or at least the piping) but long term, I try to avoid it in most other foods..
