Video:

There have been many many stories about him keeping his female organs to one day carry and child and he has twice.

What are your thoughts?

It is every woman's right to carry a child if she so chooses, but does he still have that right legally living as a man?

I don't really give a shit... but I do think it needs to pick a sex and stick to it though. As much as we want the world to accept us as we are, there are still way too many people out there who are beyond judgemental and leaving this 'it's a he it's a she' argument up for public scrutiny is opening the door for a lot of hatred to fall upon those children. Time to get over him/her self and think of those babies that they went out of their way to have.

actually for a lot of people the reason that they don't get the full gender reassignment surgery is because they can't afford it. simple as that. although i vaguely recall something about him not getting the surgery done because his wife couldn't bear children, i wouldn't quote me on that though as my memory on the subject is rather hazy.

I agree with you all. I wanted to add one thing to Laura's comment. Even without the female reproductive organs, she will always be a woman genetically.

I'm curious...does this person have a vagina? Or has that surgery already been done (just leaving ovaries and a uterus behind?) Are the babies born vaginally or c-section?

I always just wonder cause it sounds to me like they are making much ado about nothing

I think it's good for that couple that they were able to carry their own children, but I don't think "he" should be called a "pregnant man" because he is still a woman if "he" is pregnant. Biological fact. Take the female reproductive organs out THEN consider yourself a man.

I agree with all these ladies, and this "man" is not the first transgender male to give birth to a child, "he" is just the first one to make money at it.

Because it chose to live as the oposite sex and Caitlin is right how much of a man could she possibly be or feel if it decided to keep her ovaries and uterus? It is her right and whoop de doo that a woman had a baby.

Well it's body, it's choice. Can't really call it a man or a woman in this case, I guess.

It kind of makes me wonder how much of a man she really felt like if she decided to keep her ovaries, but who really cares.. Not fair that he is getting money for all these appearances and stuff, not fair, I want money too!

i don't see the big deal. I do think she is a hypocrit. Men don't get pregnant. If "she" were really a man - this would be a big issue. Its just another woman having a baby - whoop de doo.

Yup, don't see the fuss. A couple wanted a baby, one of them was able to conceive and carry one. Hurray for them!

I'm with Cathy. He's physically a woman and got pregnant, let's all have a parade.
