What are the TV shows you watch and only tell few people because the rest would look at you with the "are you for real?!" look.

Mine is The Bachelor. I hate that show, but I can't stop watching it. Everything about that show is so wrong. The women competing over one guy, him getting to choose a prize. GAWD, I really have to stop watching this show, it gets on my nerves.. I know, I'm a shamed....

Well, you can blame my husband, Sarah.

And I never, ever, ever claimed to be cool. I'm actually a gigantic dork. My favourite show (until it finished) was Battlestar Galactica. I'm contemplating watching Law & Order: UK, just to get my Jamie Bamber fix now that BSG is gone.

We finally got regular tv stations new year's eve last year, so...not much. I just don't have time. I did watch joe millionaire a long time ago [yes, been a WHILE since we've watched tv] so i could probably get into something like the bachelor. but what i used to watch all the time was antiques roadshow and the travel shows.

No, I'm saying you should use the closed captions option on your TV so you can understand what they're saying. :P

Heh -- you get used to the accents after awhile, but even then, I sometimes have to ask my husband, "What the hell did Becky just say?"

I guess the thing that I like about Corrie is that, unlike American soap operas, it's a lot more realistic. The people are working-class. There are no evil twins, lost fortunes, or convenient cases of amnesia. Not everybody is fit and gorgeous. Watching Corrie is more like walking around a neighbourhood and being able to peek in everybody's windows and hear their conversations. And being irrepressibly nosy, that appeals to me -- being able to see the dark secrets that regular people like you and me have.

Coronation Street is THE most annoying show, EVER. My inlaws watch it religiously and I wanna pull my hair out. I can't understand anything with their accents and the acting is absolutely HORRIBLE. Even more horrible than my guilty pleasure. ;)

Coronation Street is my Sunday morning guilty pleasure. Every Sunday they show about 4 episodes in a row on CBC, so we drink a bunch of coffee and sit down and watch Corrie all morning. (We're quite a ways behind you Brits, though, so no spoilers, please!) I'll admit it freely, though, so it's not that guilty of a pleasure.

Bondi Vet...cos Dr Chris is so hot! and Big Bang Theory...and I actually understand a majority of the jokes that others wouldn't

Grey's Anatomy, but I'm not ashamed, i LOVE Grey's, it's my one & only obsession. i don't have cable TV, but i admit when i did i watched that 'i didn't know i was pregnant' show. it's so stupid, how can you NOT know you're pregnant?!?! but it's my guilty sin :P and also Jamie Oliver, he's gorg, and i always watched his shows.

[deleted account]

Haha! Kate, 'Legend of the Seeker' is lame! ;) I might have been "forced" to watch it with Chad on more than one occasion!

"Oh and Judge Judy. Sometimes when i pick my kid up from school i try not to get stuck talking so i can get home in time to watch it. I can imagine what they would think if i actually said "Sorry! Can't talk, gotta get home for Judge Judy, byyyeee" "

On Foxtel, you get back to back Judge Judy at your finger tips. I'm on the "UM IS NOT AN ANSWER" bandwagon right now. Works great with the kids. Um is not an answer, stop trying to think up an excuse or a lie and just answer the goddamn question!!!

I seem to like shows that get canceled. :P

The Robin Hood series from BBC was a favorite of mine. Campy, cheesy as hell, VERY predictable plot but I loved it. And they canceled it. Bastards.

Legend of the Seeker. THAT DUDE WAS FUCKIN' HAWT!! Made me want to be an Aussie. ;P

I don't have cable but when I can catch it at my mom's house I love to watch Tabitha's Salon Takeover. :}

and Brooke had sex with her youngest daughter's (Hope) BF just like she had sex with her older daughters (Bridgette) husband the lat time she was married to Ridge. The Writers like to recycle old story lines on that show.
You only need to tune in for half an hour every two weeks to keep up with B+B haha.

almost every sunday and saturday lifetime movie network is constantly on. all the love triangle movies, always involving murder...i don't know why, but i like a break from reality on the weekend. although i do get a break from reality everyday from 12-3 when i watch all my children, one life to live, and general hospital. those i'm not too ashamed to admit though, lol!

Mine would be the hills. I know it's fake and annoying but i can't seem to change the channel when it's on and i get super excited when it's a double episode.
Oh and Judge Judy. Sometimes when i pick my kid up from school i try not to get stuck talking so i can get home in time to watch it. I can imagine what they would think if i actually said "Sorry! Can't talk, gotta get home for Judge Judy, byyyeee"

@ Loureen: Don't you mean "Bold and Which Forrester is Brook Sleeping With This Week"???? ROFL I had to stop watching B&B. I started watching it when it first came out and eventually (about 5 years ago or so) I got tired of watching Brook marry her way through that family over and over. Isn't she now married to her daughter's ex husband or something? LOL

[deleted account]

Cougar Town and Modern Family are awesome! We DVR it and my hubby gets a little peeved with me if I watch it before we get to sit down and watch it toGETHer. But he works nights, so sometimes it's days after the show aired and I can't help myself lol

WIPE SWAP USA!!! It's my favourite show. I love how extreme the wives are with their lifestyles. My husband HATES the show and thinks it's lame so I would never tell him it's my favourite and that I watch the rerun the next day aswell as the night before.

And Alive and Cooking. I love the food he makes.

I think my only "guilty pleasure" show is one that I've watched my whole life, and really feel no guilt about. General Hospital. I've watched that show since before Luke & Laura married. The first time lol Waaaaaay back in the 70's (eek!). I also like to catch old episodes of Golden Girls late at night. Same with RoseAnne. Lately, my newest "guilty pleasure" is My Fair Wedding and Bridezilla on WE. My husband will watch Bridezilla with me and from time to time during the show he'll hold my hand or kiss my forehead and tell me how lucky he is I wasn't like those crazy bitches when planning our wedding lol

Young and the Restless

I had always hated it and laughed at my mom for watching it but when we moved a year and a half ago, we stayed with my parents for 3 months and I was FORCED to watch it with my mom. Now I'm hooked....it's a trainwreck, but it's MY trainwreck! ;)

Days of our Lives, Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant, and One Tree Hill and the OC. Although I don't watch the OC reruns anymore because I think I've seen them all!
I watch a lot of TV, but those are the ones that I guess I'm a little embarassed about. I would tell people I watched them if they asked though, I'm not THAT ashamed of it!
