No, ladies, I still haven't delivered. After one blissful day of no contractions they have appeared to come back yet again this time through the haze of Ambien. I'm about to go get something light to snack on and some ice chips to see if they'll calm down and let me sleep.

As of today I am 37w3days and frickin' exhausted. Will update as able.

Aww.. Kate... Go have a long hot soak in the tub, it will either stop things or get them going stronger.
I feel for you.. it will be over soon. I promise... (hee hee easy to promise something like that)

I'm seeing my doctor today. I'm going to grab him by the balls and tell him to do something NOW. If he says there's nothing he can do I'm firing his ass and finding a new OBGYN. I've been up since 12:30 in the morning with 60 second contractions every 10 minutes. I'M FUCKING DONE.

No, these feel different than the other times. And they never got this close before. I'm still scared of going to the hospital. I can't do this any more. :(

Now they're lasting at least 60 seconds and they've gotten as close as 3 minutes apart. But I haven't had one in almost ten minutes.

scratch that...having one now.

Were they this close together the other times? Because for them to come down from 30mins, to 15 to 8mins apart in the space of 2hrs sounds like the real deal to me, especially if they are consistent. How long are they lasting?

And I'm sobbing now because I can't get my mom on the fucking phone and my husband is convinced this is another false alarm and I'm in pain and I don't know what to do.

8 minutes apart and no bloody show. Mom won't answer the damn phone and I don't want to drag my 4 year old out of bed for another false fucking alarm. THIS FUCKING SUCKS.

I'm munching ice chips and some yogurt to see if I need some sugar and hydration. Walking was fun. *eye roll*

Position change to sitting up just changed the contractions to less than every 15 minutes and lasting about a minute each. Still no bloody show.

Geez Kate, you can't catch a break huh?
Sorry this prodromal labour is kicking your ass, but fingers crossed that once things really get going they go smoothly and quickly!

Another update. My contractions are back again. Less than every 30 minutes or so and lasting 46 seconds at a time. Had bloody show a few hours ago but it seems to have stopped. Hoping a change in position will stop the contractions. This means I get to attempt to sit up and sleep. *sigh*

Good thoughts to you Kate, even though I'll be jealous if you go before me I'm not in near as much pain as you. *Sending good baby vibes through the computer*

Yeah, I know it's mean - that's why I have someone on hand with my mobile number to text me when it happens, LOL.

Kate knows I'm just joking asking her to wait :P The shit this woman has been through? I swear, she deserves a damn medal.

Okay, Kate, I'm off in the morning to New Zealand for 10 days. You are NOT allowed to deliver before then!!! Just in case, I am leaving my mobile number with someone who can text me to let me know :)

OK, I'll let you deliver while I'm away.....
