Vegan Pregnancy

I am in week 33 of a vegan pregnancy and doing great so far! I crave salads, greens and....chocolate. So far all of my tests have come back great! Any tips or feedback from anyone else eating vegan or plant-based while pregnant?

I was vegetarian before getting pregnant with my first. By week 5 all I could stomach was burgers. HA. Definitely could not be vegan with my cravings. No way.

Not something I would do but then again, I was very low in Iron and B12, regardless of what I ate. I ended up requiring supplements. Yes, I ate a ton of veggies - still do - and meat. If I had only eaten veggies, nuts and the sort, I would have had even lower Iron and B12. This was only during my 3rd pregnancy, my others were fine.

Thank you. And on that note, I have been a vegetarian for 19 years. Vegan was not a healthy choice for me, I had a lot of difficulty doing that, but was for about a year. I royally messed up my system by doing it. I had no difficulties as far as nutrition goes during my pregnancy. I had no meat cravings. Just keep up the good work.
