House and all the Crew

I have watched House from the beginning, and since my youngest daughter has the dvds for all the seasons that are out so far, I've watched episodes over and over.

Sometimes I'm fed up with House's attitude towards others (patients or students or staff), but then the way they write the storyline to bring out the absolute 'genius' House's character has, and the ability to figure almost everything out, sweeps everyone off their feet.

He may have all the smarts with illness, but he doesn't have the people skills to know how to be genuine with anyone or have Really Good Friends. And I don't think he knows how to deal with that.

Luckily this is all just a 'show', and House is just a 'character'.

I do really like Hugh Laurie, his accent, his genuine piano talent, and his sense of humor for the most part. I enjoy watching other shows and movies he has been in, and then I can see the circle of his ability to play many parts, in many ways.

I am a really late bloomer...I just discovered "House" at the beginning of this season, but now I watch every episode I can find, even if I have seen it three times before! I need to respond to "Luckily this is just a show and House is just a character". I have found that arat definitely imitates life over and over again..there are many House's in teaching hospitals and characters all they are! Fortunately/unfortunately they can be good/bad for their paitients and famililes! The writers of this show really know what is happening in these famed hospitals...House is a composite of many egocentric geniuses!
