Just curious. My twins were born in January of 08 and are now everywhere.lol. They are definitely starting to show some signs of heading towards the terrible 2's and the "I can do it myself" moments.

Hello Melinda! My name is julia. I have have twin boys born in Jan. of 2008, too. I know what you mean. They are becoming quite independant and curious, but it really is amazing to see them be the best of friends. They are a little competitive, but they love to be with each other. I believe we've got some beautiful and hilarious memories awaiting us in the future. Good luck and God bless.

1/28/08-girls! I am so tired of cleaning up after them-lol. They are into everything-and they steal each others clothes when I am changing them-or the diaper. So, I go after the item and then the one I am changing is up and running around naked, so I have to chase her down. They are working with each other and against me! Piper always has on extra socks-because she can put them on herself and is always tearing through the clothes closet and messing up all the CLEAN/FOLDED clothes. They just wear whatever I can find that is hanging out on the floor-which sounds horrible but for 3 days in a row I spent time putting all the clothes back and now I am just letting it go a bit. Obviously we need a closet lock-but it has sliding doors-so???? Kendall refuses to get undressed and/or dressed-REFUSSES. I just laugh and everyday we get through it but goodness-she is really strong and uses her whole 23 pounds to her advantage. They have also started dumping their food out and spreading it all over the table. And they move everything around and then climb up it to get what they want off the counters-candy, a cup of water-whatever. Of course you know that this all happens in like 30 seconds.
This was fun to write because the "horrible" things that they are doing are funny-annoying and repetitive but funny and memorible.
They have also started following motions to songs and imitating videos. They do play together longer and the fighting is still around but not as aggressive (we still had some bitting at MOPS today-but only with each other). So, they are getting more fun because their attention span isn't 10 seconds any longer. There is good that comes with the bad.
Has anyone noticed that their twins share well with each other-but not with other kids? I just started noticing that.

Hi, I have twins born 28.01.08, Tom & Chloe, and like your's, mine are also heading fastly towards the terrible 2's. Tom is very outgoing and has always done everything (like crawling, walking, etc) months ahead of Chloe but she always gets there in the end. Chloe is a little more reserved initially but really comes out of her shell when Tom isn't around as he can be a bit of a bully sometimes. But they love to chase each other around the house and I love to watch them, listening to the laughter, I love the bond they have. The main trouble I have with them is eating, neither one of them will eat anything other than sandwiches, toast, fruit and yogurt at the moment and it is driving me mad as I know they aren't getting enough goodness from it, but hopeuflly it won't last

Hi I have twin boys who were born Jan 16 08. Mine are everywhere as well and defiantly entered the terrible 2's. No matter how much we baby proof they always team up and manage to get into... well everything! lol. Then add a 3 month old who needs your attention at the same time is total chaos! One of my sons is a chatter box and social butterfly who will talk all day interact with his baby brother the dog his twin brother and anyone who is around while the other is "Mr. Independent" and all hell breaks loose when you try to help or show him something!!
