I'm interested in others' experiences with getting my toddler to say good-bye to her "Soos" as she calls it. Baby number 2 will arrive November 20th and I don't want there to be two sets of soothers around. Any suggestions? She's really attached. How long will it take for her to ajust? What's the best way? Gradual - only at nap and bed time for awhile or Cold turkey and replace it with a new cherished item? Help, please...

You could start by cutting the tips off of them, and then they won't be as enjoyable to suck on and she could loose interest. You could limit to nap times and slowly take it away or you can go cold turkey. It is all up to you. No matter what, it may take a little while for her to get use to it, but be patient
