I have the Evenflo Triumph Advance too. It is great. It is very similar to the Britax Marathon but less expensive. I bought the Triumph because it can be rear-facing until 35 pounds. If you look up rear-facing car seats on you will find a crash-test video that shows the difference between forward facing babies versus rear facing. It is scary how dangerous it is for babies to be forward facing, even after they are one year old. Although their legs may be touching the back seat it is better for babies to have a broken leg from a crash then what can happen if they're forward facing.

We're using the Britax Roundabout. It's compact but fits my bigger-than-normal kid. One plus is that it also fits in airplane seats.

We've just ordered the Eddie Bauer Deluxe "Montecito" 3 in 1 Convertible car seat! It's her birthday present!

We just did this last week and after reading all kinds of reviews online and going to the store and actually trying them out with our son and taking the one we liked out to our car before we actually paid for it - we bought the Evenflo Triumph Advance Premier. So far I like it. No complaints.

We have a Britax Marathon that we got on sale (discontinued color) and I love it. Although, I can't wait until we can turn him forward facing. My son is very tall for his age, and he has to bend his legs to fit rear facing.

We are also looking at getting a carseat very soon. I think we will be going with Britax because of the safety ratings, durability, and comfort. They are definitely on the higher end price wise but it seems like from all the reviews they are worth it. We travel a lot so a comfortable and safe carseat is especially important. Good luck!

We have an Alpha Omega. It goes from 5-50lbs I think. It's sturdy and EASY to adjust.

I really like the Evenflo Triumph Advance.

I had the old version of the Evenflo Triumph and liked that, but the Advance is so much better! A nice tall seat - my almost 6 year old can still fit in his brother's seat. My 3 1/2 year old might just now be too tall to rear-face in it (although I turned him FF a long time ago).

It is a wide seat, but comfy - The harnesses ever need to be rethreaded - which is so nice!

Even though it's big, it's still nice for an infant to use.
