My daughter is almost 25 months and still has 8 teeth to come in and they show no signs of coming in. The doctors don't seem to think anything is wrong but all the two year old children that I know have a full mouth of teeth. She's missing her 4 canines and 4 molars in the back of the mouth. Any one else's baby still missing teeth?

My daughter only has 14 teeth too. I used to worry about it but have now realised it's a pointless exercise. The teeth will come through eventually and if they don't then there is not a lot I can do about it . If the baby teeth aren't present in the jaw for some reason then there is nothing that can be done about it as long as the adult teeth are present ( and you won't find out till she is 6+) then things will be Ok. The doctors aren't worried because she is still young and there is nothing they can do either.

My daughter's back 4 molars (the second set) are just starting to come in now. She got the rest of her teeth quite early, but these last four seem to be taking their time :)
