After reading the issue on what nappy to use cos of heavy wetter, I wondered if any of you had any suggestions for getting a heavy wetter at night dry.

My 3 yr old is completely potty trained daytime but I still have to put him in a nappy for bed and sometimes the bed is still wet.

I've tried limiting drinks near to bed time, putting him on the toilet just before he goes to bed.

I've not tried lifting him just before I go to bed as he is a bad sleeper and I am worried if I wake him which I would do no matter how careful I tried to be so he was only semi awake, he would not go back to sleep.

Any suggestions??

I am a horrible potty-trainer (LOL) but I wonder what would happen if you just stopped using diapers and let him wet the bed (you could layer a few extra waterproof mattress pads and sheets to make changing sheets fast in the middle of the night) I think he might realize he needs to hold it at night too if he's uncomfortable on a regular basis. But, I don't think it's too unusual for kids even up to 4 to wet the bed at night, is it? I use Huggies Overnights too and agree they're the only ones that work for nighttime. :)

When L began leaking at night I went up a diaper size and it stopped. Or they sell overnight reusable inserts on many of the diaper seller sites. Hope that helps!
