Hey everyone! I'm Harmony and I'm 21 years old. I am married to a U.S. Army soldier who is currently deployed right now. Our first child came on January 3, 2008. Her name is Kamden and she is so beautiful! She learned how to crawl normally at 7 months. Before that she was doing the Army crawl. She is also into everything! For about a month now, she has been pulling herself up by using the coffee table or the couch. Ever since she's learned to do that, she's been walking around stuff, going from the coffee table to the couch, then from the couch to the love seat. Pretty much whatever she can get to! She said "mama" when she was about 6 months, then "baba", then "bye bye", then "dada", now she's saying "uh-oh".

Kathryn, so you are done at four, huh!?!?! I hear ya on the space and money issue! We are already bursting at the seams in our house (it's a three bedroom, so the older two share a room and Breckin gets his own - for now anyway!) but I STILL want JUST one more...but Jason (my hubby) doesn't see eye to eye with me on that one!

Breckin is crawling, too! He JUST figured out how to crawl "normally"!!! He was doing the army crawl for the longest time, but now that he's figured out the true form of crawling, he is ALL OVER the house! So we've learned very fast to start putting up the dogs' water dishes and to shut the basement door (thank GOD he has never fallen down the steps and I pray to keep it that way!) But now he's pulling himself up to a standing position when he's by the coffee table or certain toys and such...but then he's stuck! He doesn't know how to get down without falling! :)

My oldest took is first step at just over 9 months! Which is just CRAZY when I think about it now as Breckin isn't quite there yet!!! Savana didn't walk until around a year - but right before her first birthday my mother-in-law had taken her to the dr. for me (as I work full time and couldn't get there in a timely manner) and found out she had an EAR INFECTION! So right when she started the meds, she began walking...so I felt like the worst mother ever! But we had NO IDEA she had an ear infection - she never pulled at her ear or had trouble sleeping or anything...we just took her in because she had a cold that wouldn't go away! But she's definitely the "sickly" one of the bunch!!! :) Maybe it's because she was our "runt"!!! (Braedon was over 9lbs., and Breckin was about 8.5lbs...she wasn't even 7lbs.!!) But she has an innocent hear murmur, and Reactive Airway Disease and has been hospitalized twice in her life already (she'll be 4 in December)!!! And now she has speech delays, too!!! Aaahhh! But we love her all the same! :) Well enough rambling for me!! (Sorry!)

Hi Kirsten.....believe me, for me, 3 was not a walk in the park....that was the toughest transition for me. I feel like now I could keep adding more and it would not seem that difficult. Except for things like space and money :). That and the fact that I had my tubes tied mean that there aren't any babies likely!

My 9 month old, Jane, is crawling like crazy, and you can tell she is thinking about walking every day. If she does start walking this month she would be my youngest walker so we will see. She is pretty careful though and I don't see her taking too many chances!

Hello! My name is Kirsten! I only have three children!!! Which to the two of you is a "walk in the park"!!! :) I'm sure you're hands are full with 4/5 children! I feel like my hands are full with three! My first two are very close together, and the rest would have followed suit, but we ran into health insurance issues and had to wait...:( Anyways, my oldest is Braedon (5), then Savana (3 - soon to be 4), and we just had our third child/second boy, Breckin in January! He was born 2 weeks early! We weren't due until Feb. 7, but he decided to arrive in Jan. 23rd with is three days after my birthday and 6 days before my hubby's birthday!!! I was really hoping that he would have waited until Feb! That way we would have a Dec. birthday (Savana), January birthdays (me and my hubby), a Feb. birthday (Breckin's had he been born around his due date), and a March birthday (Braedon)!!! But he graced us with his presence early and I'm so happy to have him! So what are your 9 month olds doing at this stage!!?? Crawling, walking, etc.....???
