We bath everyday sometimes twice depending on the severity of the day, my toddler gets into everything, and messy meals, I could get away with every other, plus I love the sweet lotion smell of her after the bath, she sometimes takes a shower with me to save time too.

my son is 21 months and we typically bathe him every other day, depending on how much we are outside and how he does with dinner (lol). i do put lotion on him sometimes but not often at all.

My son loves baths. He certainly lets me know if he really wants one, then I will let him have it. Otherwise, it's pretty much every other day. I don't think it's good for his skin and also babies can get UTIs from baths. If he's sick, I give him a vapor bath.

whahahahah yes its great !! sets a routine . I just shove my two in the bath they splash around playing then its serious time washing under the arms and brushing the teeth then once a week its hair washing time. we use natural hair shampoo , olive oil soap ( my mum makes from her olive oil farm).. once they get out they run around naked for a while we don't use lotion as I personally don't think you need to .. at 27 I've only started using a moisturising sunscreen on myself now..

My daughters(7 months) doctor said that it is not a good thing to bath a baby everyday. When you bath them you wash away all of the natural oils on the skin. Every other day or even every third day is the best.

My daughter (22mos) gets a bath every other day (unless dinner is particularly messy...tonight we're having spaghetti...yikes!) I occassionally use lotion, but not very often.

right now I bath my little girl every other day unless she gets really dirty from outside/etc. and I always put lotion on afterwards. And I'm with Lisa.. I always adjust the temperature in the house so she isn't too cold and dry her off completely!

My son is 22 months and we typically do baths every other day, but some occasions depending on how "dirty" he is it may be daily which is usually more in the summer. My dr actually recommended not to do it daily in the winter because it dries out their skin. I always put lotion on him after the bath, especially in the winter. Hope this helps!

Bathing everyday is a good thing! But I don't beat myself up over an every other day that goes missed! I make sure I adjust the temperature of not just the bathwater, but the temperature in the house, whether it be summer or winter! Dry the child off well getting in every nook and cranny can keep the skin from drying out. Adding a lotion in the winter time will help keep the skin moisturized. Its more important in the winter time to take quicker baths, dry off well, get dressed if you have to, then add the lotion under the jammies...Blessings!
