I need more help with potty training

My daughter had been showing all the signs of readiness for about 2-3 months. When she is wearing a diaper she always tells me that she has gone pee-pee or poo-poo, and wants to be changed immediately. When she wears panties she doesn't tell me she has to go, she just goes in her panties and then she screams(which I take as that she knows she is doing something wrong). She is always within feet of her potty, and talks about it quite often. We do practice runs many time a day but she does nothing in the potty, then sometimes goes pee-pee right after we pull her panties back up. I have tried using pull-ups instead of panties since we have been having so many accidents but I think that she thinks they are diaper too. I have tried to tell her that she needs to keep them dry just like panties. She even calls them diapers and still asks to wear her panties. I do not know where to go from here. Please any advice?

My daughter was showing signs of going potty for a while now too. Its just something you have to do consistently. I just switched her over to panties, and only put a pull-up on her when shes napping or going to bed. But she too had accidents in her panties and got very upset. So what I did was let her wear nothing down there so Its more convenient for her. And i put her on the potty about every 1/2 n hour sometimes more so she would get used to it. And she actually just started using the potty frequently. She knows where her potty is from me putting her on it all the time. And she doesn't have accidents, because she has enough time without having to pull down her panties. In the begging there will be accidents, she would try to make it to the potty and wind up going right next to it. Just be consistent and give her praise when she does go. My daughter likes how I give her stickers and praise her every time she goes. So now shes more excited about using the potty. I hope I was help. But remember every child is different you have to keep trying different methods until you find one that works for your child. Because I tried about everything until I finally found something that worked!

if my daughter had not been for a while and I knew that she needed a wee I would sit her on the toilet with a book. It seemed to help her relax (she was 2 on 20th Jan) and she now goes to the toilet all the time, is nappy free and nights are nearly done too. But I also left her there for a while and gave her the chance to relax and get on with things. She often tells me to go away when she is on the toilet and I just go and do something for a few minutes until I hear 'DONE' Good luck

my daughter is doing the same thing to the T. she loves going potty in the big girl potty but she gets so into playing that she just goes in her panties, i put a pull up on her and she goes in that. so right now im putting it on hold for a few months. good luck to you though.
