Is he ready to be potty trained?

My son just turned 2. For some time now he has been taking his diaper off when he pees or poos. For a little less time he has been saying pee-pee or poo-poo when he has already went in his diaper. I put him on the toilet 2 nights ago an he went! He brings us his wipes and diapers when he needs changed. But I just did not know if he was actually ready to start the process of potty training. Also the bigger question, How do I start this? How do I get him to tell me BEFORE he goes in his diaper?

My daughter just turned two a few weeks ago and I've been trying to get her potty trained. I am a stay at home mom with two children 2yr Girl and 8 month boy. I have started to take her every half hour to use the potty, and when she goes poop in her pull-up we show her where it goes and dump it into the potty. I'm still having trouble during the day with her telling me she needs to go potty but when she's supposed to be going to sleep at night or at nap time she will feel the urge and tell me. Sometimes when she's wet she'll go back to the bathroom and use the potty and change her own pull-up but for now we are still working on telling mommy when she needs to use the bathroom. You can remind your son where pee and poop goes in the potty and not in the diaper. Good Luck!!
