Mummy needs a puffer

My partner and I have 2 sons ages 3yrs and 4yrs. When our oldest was 2 1/2 yrs I taught him as best possible that mummy gets sick sometimes and needs to take a puffer to help breath. I showed him where I keep it so if I need it and I'm not able to get to it he is able to help.
I have now taught our 3yr old and he has become so good at understanding what's going on that I don't have to ask him to get it he already knows and brings it to me when I'm having trouble breathing. Not only that but he will sit with me and say " mummy it's ok ".
I'm very proud of both my boys and the best thing I have done was to teach them about my asthma. They also feel proud of themself when they have helped me.

I think we need to give our children more credit for just how smart they are at such a young age and what they are able to understand and do.

Love my little men : )

that is so true. my 4yr old daughter and 3 yr old son are incredibly smart. They know and do things that you wouldn't believe. You can't doubt what kids know these days.
