i have such a hard time with her in the grocery store. She will not sit in the cart at all she thinks she has to walk through the store and get in to everything. She is way to litle to be walking , so afraid she will get hurt. Anybody else going through this?

Hi Lisa, unfortunately this is a problem for me as well. I tend to caryy small sweets and juice in my handbag to keep my son occupied . . . maybe this will help you?

My daughter hates hates hates to sit in anything...highchair, carseat, shopping carts. So what I do when I am at the store is give her the list when I put her in the cart (occupies her long enough to get her buckled) and then each item on the list I give to her so she can put in the cart. It occupies her enough to keep her calm and I make sure I talk to her most of the time while shopping, like saying words of the products we are buying. Its like a game now, and she is doing better with sitting. good luck

The tesco i shop at, has "cars" as trolleys, so my toddler "drives" & honks the horn while i do the shopping. Cant fit too much in, but i use internet shopping for most groceries & just go to buy fresh fruit & veg. Annree loves driving the trolley. It might be worth finding out if your local store offers the same.

I am going through the same thing. I tried to let her stand in the back of the cart (but she flipped over the side) I have tried buckling her in but she screams and I forget what I am looking for. I have tried snacks and all but nothing works!

I let Jack stand in the basket. Another tip is to give her things to look for in each aisle. Tell her that you need her to find her favorite foods. Good luck!

My son does it all the time, All I can really tell you to do is buckle her in. She will yell and scream but eventually she will see your standing your ground and give up the fight. I hope everything works out for you!
