My 19 month old keeps taking everything off, including her diaper. She prefers to go around naked. I have another daughter who only did that a few times when she was about 9 months old. Is this a normal thing that is happening with other kids of this age? How can I get her to stop?

my baby does this too. she will not leave clothes or a diaper on. ive tried everything...onesies , zip up pajamas backwards, diaper backwards, nothing works! at bedtime i check on her and shes naked and her crib is wet. I dont know what to do. especially when im trying to get ready to go out, she will be all ready and then 5 minutes later i have to dress her again. diapers are expensive and i go through about 15 a day( no exaggeration!) does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know what the solution is but my 2 year daughter does the same exact thing. Its aggravating sometimes too because she'll strip down and then pee on the floor. We've been potty training but its not going so well, she would much rather pull her pants down and pee on the floor LOL. I know she'll eventually stop doing that but my poor carpet is probably tired of the steam cleaner. You could try like jumpsuits they are a little bit more challenging for them to get off. I think this is just something they go through, and in time it will pass. I hope, Good Luck.

lol my son does that as well, hes 2, he prefers to be naked and free. I would to if I could get away with it. I think this is normal for children to do. I know quite a few toddlers that like to be naked. All my kids have done it and they just grew out of it. Mind you the only time they would strip is when we were at home so that why I din't really do anything about it.

lol, my son recently learned how to put clothes on and take them off he changes his clothes countless times during the day. When he has taken his diaper off i have been lucky they have not been stinky diapers however he did jump in my 1 year olds bed and take her diaper off for her and it was stinky so everywhere she sat she left her mark. Its something new they have learned and are excited to take their clothes off themselves and be independent. I think they will grow out of it when its not something new any more. Otherwise if you fingure out how to stop it let me know i can't keep track of whats clean and whats dirty my laundry load has gone up so much since he started this. I wouldn't worry about it only being your daughter. i try to laugh about it so it wont stress me out.
