We are beginning Potty Training. Just curious on once I get my daughter Potty Trained during the day then do I start at night or do it all together & how do I know how much to give her to drink before bed & what if she gets up & is thirsty at night.

I did it at the same time and am a firm believer that once in underwear.. do not put in pull-ups or diapers again - it only confuses them. `even at night.. in the beginning you may want to put a diaper over her underwear at night so that she never feels a diaper on her skin again. My son goes to bed around 8 - so i stop liquids around 6 and only give him a few sips if he insists on it.. i have been told that potty training before 2 may be less successful because they do not have the ability to hold it all night yet..

I am just starting the potty training and so far she just sits and stares at me like I am an idiot. Had a friend who was potty training her 2 year old. He said there was never a problem during the day but at night they still used a nappy. However as soon as his son woke up in the morning he would dash to the loo and really praise the dry nappy until he didn't need a night time nappy anymore. Basically I would say that is a good approach and also not to get upset when accidents happen at night. Anyway I am still going to go through it all myself so hope there are more answers in time.
