When does your 2 year old wake up, nap, and go to bed? Is it the same time everyday? Are you having any trouble with nap time?

My son gets up about 7-730 every morning. He eats at 12 and at school he naps at 12:30 we had always started nap time about 1. Then goes to bed at 8:30. We do have trouble with nap time but he just started school last week so we will be changing nap time at home and hope that staying on the same schedule will help, other wise before he would stay in his room for 3 hours and not go to sleep. When he is asleep is when i need my time to myself i am a stay at home mom that does school full time online so i work on school work when he is asleep. It is really stressful when he wont go to sleep in the afternoon. But just in the last week he has done wiell going to sleep. But we have been on a strict schedule since he was born always sleeping and waking up at the same times. Or atleast atempting to put him to sleep at the same time. So it is not a surprise when he is going to bed. He knows its coming and the rutine. We get milk, the blanket and pillow he has surely taken out of his bed lay down cover up say prayers and kiss and say good night. Same thing everytime. Keeeping a rutine is important on working days and on days off when you need to run around. Good luck.

Well it seems like you little one are getting up pretty early in the morning. My daughter Brooklyn wakes up around 10:00 a.m and I normally have to wake her up, we eat breakfast right away, she doesn't have a nap anymore. We eat lunch around 1:30p.m., dinner at 7:00p.m., bath around 8:00p.m them a few story and bed at 9:00 p.m. I feel like she sleeps way too much my her doctor say if fine, and it allows me me sleep in(great now since I'm 8 months pregnant.

Caden wakes up everyday (besides weekends) at 6 am- gets to school at 6:30am then naps there at 11:45-12p gets up around 3 and comes home-eats, bathes and in bed by 7:45-8p. SAME routine EVERY day-I believe it*s important that he has a routinem, it helps him trust me and helps me also =)

My son started a new routine where he wakes up really early to jump in bed with mom and dad and sleep there. But I usually return him to his bed if he doesn't wake up and tell me no while trying to move him, because my husband has to go to work at 7am! He usually gets up and moving between 7 and 8, but every once in a while he'll sleep in as late as 8:45 , but since I have my 10 mo. old girl I have to help her at 7:00 or so... That reminds me I have to get some sleep, it's late.
Oh and my son's nap time is 2:00, if that doesn't work then it's 3:00, and if he doesn't take a nap before before 4 then it's no nap. And his bed time used to be 8pm but now it's 9 and it doesn't get dark outside until almost 9 so that's better. He will fight it though and want to stay up way past 9, it helps if we the parents go to bed too so he isn't tempted to hang out in the living room and watch TV.

my son wakes at 5:30 cause he needs to wee we sit on the potty and snuggle back in bed until 6:30 when we get up his little brother wakes up soon after that and we go for a walk they eat there toast and fruit in the buggy we walk daddy to the train station takes us just under an hour we get back and then its on with our day he used to eat lunch at 11:30 and bed straight after but now that has changed and he is not really tired until 2 so he goes down at 2 until sometimes 5 but I try and get him up before then .. then we walk and pick daddy up from the station stay and play in the park for a bit and then dinner is 6 and Bath @ 7 and straight to bed.

we used to be like clock work but as he is getting older sometimes he wont nap at all so he just sits in his room and plays so I go with the flow now if he seems tired he goes down . at daycare though they still go by the lunch nap and he will sleep for an hour sometimes more

Well my son goes to daycare which is very scheduled, so I just keep that same schedule on the weekends too. Goes mostly like this:

Up at 7am > lunch at 11- 11:30 > nap at 12 to 2 (for the most part) > dinner at 6:30-7 > bed at 8:30

He does fairly well with going down for naps and bedtime, but we have had our share of tough nights too. Usually when he is over tired. But we try really hard to keep him on the same routine.

This is the ideal daily scedule--Wake up 9am, Nap time 12-3pm,(If not asleep by 3 she goes to bed early 8pm) Bedtime 9-930pm She doesnt like to take a nap, Only doesnt fight me about it if she gets up before 8am, then she goes down easy, otherwise its about an hour of crying before she falls asleep.

Hi i normally wake up my daugher around 8.00am, she would go down to nap about 12.30-12.45 for about an hour and half then would put her to bed at 9pm but realised she wasn't tired much, so this week we have taken away her nap and when she goes to bed at 9pm she will fall asleep straight away till morning without waking up, we have also taken away the dummy.

My daughter 2years 4months wakes up between 5:30 and 5:45 am every day. Nap time is around 12 but she usually falls asleep around 1pm and wakes up around 3. bed time is 8pm sharp sometimes earlier usually earlier if she hasn't taken a nap. We have had a set schedule since she was born but she is starting to give me trouble with nap time. Some days she naps other days it's like no way.

Wakes up around 6:30 -7:30. Lunch 12. Nap time around 1pm (usually sleeps for 2hrs). Dinner at about 6 - 6:30. Bath 7- 7:30. Storytime (4 books, she gets to pick) then bedtime around 8pm. Hoping this will not change too much when the new bub gets here, due 12/6, as my daughter just needs the triggers to get her ready for bed or nap time. If you keep the routine, they will learn what is to come next eg story time is followed by sleeptime. We have found that every now and then she will not go down for a nap and on those days we do not make a big deal of it, just head outside to keep her active and bring nightime routine forward. Then next day we go back to her 'normal' routine.

My daughter wakes up around 730am, and used to nap around 1-230. I realized she wasn't falling asleep until around 1000 or 1030. That was way too late for me so I stopped napping her, she is 2 years and 4 months old. It has been only 4 days without naps now but she is guaranteed to be sleeping around 730 or 800 every night :) What a relief! And yes, my routine has been the same every day and will never change, just stick to your guns :) Good behaviour is the reward.

Wakes up around 7/8am unless I am laying next to him. Nap time around 1ish if he says he wants one. At this point he is pretty much done with naps unless we are having a bad day. and night time is at 9-11pm if he took a nap. We are pretty laid back here. He knows what is going on, schedule or not :/..

My son wakes up at 7 (sometimes later!), goes down for a nap at 1 till 3 or 4, then back down for bed at 8. He does not fight at nap/bed. I keep him very active during the day, and maintain the same bed rituals nightly. Also lunch is at 12, and dinner at 6:30 or 7. I think it's important to keep a schedule to some degree as it makes the transition from one activity to the next go more smoothly, as they learn to expect what comes next.

wakes up between 7-7:30, nap for hour and a half around 1-2pm, to bed between 9 (if we;re really lucky!) and 10. cannot get him down for nap or at night without a huge struggle, he just won't give up!
