My daughter turned 2 on the 21st of January and she has been doing that off and on. Sometimes she just doesnt want to eat and sometimes she is fine. Although fruits and pasta always seem to work. I stuck my finger in her mouth and realized she is getting her 2 year old molars.... so I am assuming other stuff hurts her mouth more then others. Sometimes I just give her a ba-ba with milk before bed if she didnt eat alot that night, which always helps. Good Luck!! As for the cold, that could be another reason why she isnt eating. Right before my daughter comes down with something she normally doesnt eat as much... I think it stresses us out more then them. They will eat when they get hungry enough! I always have to remind myself of that.

eating, sleeping and pee/pooping are the only things in their little lives that they can take a stand on. it's totally normal and i don't think has anything to do w/moving.
if she doens't have a fever, or isn't cranky don't give her anything. but if she nees something, Tylenol or Motrin every 6 hours.

Glad to hear all your 2 year olds are doing the same. All my daughter wants is milk!!! WEats full meal very rarely. Weight is normal though so I guess she's ok

My daughter is like that, she prefers to drink milk or fruits and for awhile she hardly ate anything but lately she's been good about food, what i did was i would give her a plate of food and encourage her every time she took a bite, she loved it and from then on, she just eats whatever i put infront of her.

It's good your son is eating fruits! Like my daughter, she loves them. It's perfectly normal for kids this age to be picky so don't stress about it, your daughter will eat when she's hungry.

When my daughter is sick i just give her some medicine for it and she gets better within a day or two. Don't stress. I'm sure your doing a great job. :)

My son is also 2yo and recently he's on food strike. Keep asking for milk instead of his regular food, not sure consider same situation as yours but what we did was to let him have his milk instead (if not he'll wails loudly). After awhile then we fed him solid. I think they are at the stage now whereby they knows how to choose things so I'll give in to him so long he does have the 'intake' required either milk or food.
