ok! my son just turned 11 months. i'm still breastfeeding him. I started to have my periods again last month. I noticed this month that i was starting to feel nauseous and decided to wait until my missed period to test for pregnancy. the week came and no period. i then decided to wait one more week to be sure. It was then i started to spot! at first i thought it was the start of my late period. nope! I started to get clots come out. no stream. This started to worry me. also note i had a c-section for the delivery. I thought at first this clotting was my uterus cleaning house but i noticed i was still felt nauseous. what is going on with my body? do i continue to breastfeed if i'm pregnant? also, i did some research to see what this spotting was. i found ""Many women mistake some light bleeding for a period, but as many as 25 percent will have some spotting during implantation," says Goist. If you notice that your "period" seems way shorter or different from usual, it may be time to take a pregnancy test."

Elsie, you're wrong. You can totally breastfeed through pregnancy and even after baby #2 is born. It's called "tandem" breastfeeding. Here's Kelly Mom's link page on the subject: http://www.kellymom.com/bf/tandem/index....

I totally recommend you keep BFing your small one, however the pregnancy test turns out. Also, you should probably take the pregnancy test. Good luck!

Your periods just started again right, your body can react many ways to different things. example, starting or stopping birthcontrol your period goes all messed up. your body could be regulating itself trying to get back on track. when my periods came back, the third one was 2 days long and very very light. I took the test it said negative, so a week later i still went to my doctors just to make sure.
I would suggest for you to do the same and not worry completely until you know for sure or not. so take the test and then follow it up with a doctors visit.
best of luck

I would take a pregnancy test and if it comes out negative I would follow up with your doctor just to be sure.

oooooh,am so sorry. the only way to be sure is to take a test and if you are pregnant you have to stop breastfeeding. all the best
