Don't worry. I think as moms we tend to worry more then we should. My daughter doesn't lilke it really either. I try to get a couple of minutes out of her when I can. She prefers to lay on her side or her back. She isn't rolling over yet either. I do here all these other 4 months that are already doing it but she will do it when she is ready.

Oh he LOVEs it! Its even better now that he can roll over...He seems to like playing with his toys much easier on his tummy instead of back =)

My baby hates it too! I thought I was the only one because so many people act surprised when I tell them that. But my oldest, now 16 hated it too. So I don't force it. If I can get 5 minutes out of her that is good enough for me. If she is slower to roll over than other babies so what? It's not like she will never learn and will grow up thinking "Man, if only my mom had given me more tummy time my life would have turned out differently..." She has great head control she is just like a lot of the other babies, she wants to be up looking around rather than facing the floor. I don't like laying flat on my stomach and having to crane my neck to look around either!

My daughter doesn't mind it, she will push up and when she gets sick of it she usually flips onto her back. I started off doing tummy time every nappy change, just for one minute, longer if she was happy.

My daughter can have tummy time but it lasts a few minutes then she gets mad and stuffs her face into ground! lol! She is able to push up..but she would rather sit up on her own than have tummy time...I still put her on her tummy once a day until she fusses then i stop... :D

it really depends with our son, Liam. He gets into these moods where he won't have any of it. then other times he is fine to be on his tummy...but only for about five minutes at a time. I recently discovered that he enjoys it much more when he is on his contoured changing pad in just a diaper. He will hold his head to 90° for a couple minutes on his tummy.

My daughter doesn't like tummy time. She cries after a few minutes of being on her stomach. I just let her cry for a few minutes on her tummy cause it helps with her neck control. She seems to like the boppy a little better for tummy time cause it elevates her off the floor and makes her hold her head up a liitle better. Where as if I just put her straight on the floor she doesn't pick her head up that much. She still doesn't have 100% head control yet. Is there anybody else with this issue?

My son HATES tummy time. He goes into hysterics whenever I roll him over on his belly. The doctor told us to keep him on his belly at least 10-20 minutes a day becuase his head was starting to look a bit flat in the back. I do put him on his belly maybe 5 minutes a day, but i started taking a towel and rolling it up then laying him on his side with the towel behind him to prop him up. He really likes his side and I will lay on my side facing him and talk and play. We do each side probably an hour over the course of a day. Plus, he's off the back of his head.

no. my son hates it. he just lays there and screams until i turn him over. I started doing it every day and now he expects it and it seems to be helping with his neck muscles and he stays quiet for a little longer each time while he lifts his head.

My daughter does not like it at all. She would get fussy. Sometimes, she would roll onto her back and just stay there. Eventually she will like it later. I even have that boppy tummy time thing for her, and she just gets mad.

My baby hates it. She sobs into the mat I got her and drools all over it. She doesn't mind laying over my breastfeeding pillow though.

My little girl doesn't like it at all. She just face plants her face into the ground. I try to show her how to push up with her arms but she isn't a big face and starts to get fussy.
