I had a hard time find a comfortable and supportive nursing bra while I have been breastfeeding my daughter. This time around I am willing to search high and low to find a better bra! I was wondering which bras everyone has had good luck with because there are so many bras out there to choose from. Thank you!

Thank you Katy and Vanessa! I did order some new bras from Bella Materna and they are awesome! The company was great too but I am still looking for more because I could only afford two Bella bras! Thanks and I can't wait to check out your suggestions!

Hi Aimee - this might be a biased reply but I work for a company called Amon Maternity (www.amonmaternity.com) and we used to sell a great sleep nursing bra. It's super comfy and great for around the house. We unfortunately are no longer selling it online but you can find it at this online retailer - http://www.babybrowns.com/ProductInfo.as...

I'd love to hear of some recommendations for a non-sleep nursing bra (one I can go out of the house with!) because I'm due in July and need to figure that out soon.

By the way, here is a better size guide for the Amon bra that is not shown on the website I gave you the link for:

small: sizes 32B-D, 34A-C, 36A-B

medium: sizes 34D-G, 36C-DD, 38A-D, 40A-B

large: sizes 38DD-G, 40C-F, 42B-D

x-large: sizes 40G, 42DD-G

I have tried so many nursing bras and finally found one that makes me HAPPY!!! I have tried many other nursing bras (under wire, soft-cup, lace, cotton) and nothing compares to Bravado bras. As you know, when you are nursing, your cup size can change by the day – even by the hour – so finding a bra that can “go with the flow” is essential! Because I am a fuller chested woman and am picky about being “supported” especially when nursing, I have found Bravado Bras to be the best bras out there! They are very supportive yet there is no underwire so it can expand and contract in cup size as needed. They breathe yet hold everything in place. I wouldn’t recommend taking a jog in these bras, but for everyday activities they are perfect. Additionally, they are designed to give you easy access for nursing.

While some maternity bras are made for day and night, I have found that changing into a nighttime bra was so relaxing. It was nice to have a change. I have loved the Medela nighttime bras because they are so comfortable while sleeping. They have excellent access for nighttime feedings with no snaps or closures to worry about. I machine wash them but line dry them to preserve their softness.

Then you may have or not thought about Nursing PJs. I have found they can help make nighttime feedings easier. Comfort and ease is key when you are dog tired and trying to meet your baby’s feeding needs. Below are some links to help you find nursing PJs. At least these are the one i like...

I too was small until my milk came in. I went from an A cup to a D cup and it was a big adjustment! I will def. try the Kohl's bras. Until now I have only used the cheap Motherhood brand and they were OK but I really want something a little more comfy. Thank you!

I have only used the Wal-Mart kind and the ones from Kohls and personally I hate the Wal-Mart kind and LOVE the ones from Kohls. They are nice and stretchy and don't push down on your breasts which is so important in the beginning when your breasts may be sore. I have fairly small breasts though and was only a C even when my milk came in so I'm not sure how supportive they would have been if I was large chested.
