My daughter has 7 teeth and started teething around 3 months and got the first one in that same month. She seems to break them through fairly quick (aside from the last 2 she is currently working on). My oldest took a long time from start of teething till they broke through, I think she was almost a year before she had even half the teeth this lil one does.

Hi Rachael,
My Son was 5 1/2 months when he got his 1st tooth. He is now 9 months and 3 weeks and has 7 teeth all together (We just got our 7th tooth last week, and it looks like another is on its way).

Our son was six months old when he got his first tooth. He now has 5 and another on the way. He is now 8.5 months old. But every child is different, so don't be worried. Aot of sleepless nights, but good once the teeth break the gums!!

9 months and 3 days.

My oldest had her first teeth come in in her 8th month. Then they all came in gangbusters after that. She had 16 teeth in by the time she was 18 months. The last 4 came about a year later.

My daughter was a little of five months old. She got one and then the other 3 days later. I know a friend of mine's son is almost eight months old and still no teeth so I think it just depends on the child!

Yay!! Our daughters have the same birthday!!! And the same problem!! Although, Aurora started teething at 6 months. I have yet to see a tooth actually sprout. They look like they are just under the surface of her gums, but refuse to come up! I think it has something to do with genetics. Ask your mom when your teeth finally came in and when her's did too. Do the same thing with the daddy's side of the family. I've heard that it's normal for babies not to actually sprout a tooth until ten months or so.

My 9 month old got two teeth at seven months - two days apart. None since. She chews on everything in sight. You can see several in her top gums. My 25 month old had 13 teeth at 12 months, starting when she was 4 months old. Every baby is different.

My son is 9 months and has his bottom two teeth. He's been teething since 4 months as well, but his first tooth appeared about 6 1/2 months of age.

My son will be 9 months on the 25th April and has just cut his first tooth on the weekend, 1 week before he is 9 months. This is much later than my other kids, who both had their first tooth by 7 months. I'm sure that your daughter will get some teeth soon, the books I've read say between 6 & 12 months, but some babies I know have got them before 6 month and some after 12 months

My boy is nearly 10 months and still no teeth. His top gums are changing shape so not far off. Nothing to worry about they're all different. My nephew just got his first tooth at 11 months.

Teething is hereditary so find out when you and baby's dad cut your first teeth for a good indication on your bubs =)
I cut my 1st 2 teeth at 4mths and so did my lil boy, hes almost 9mths now and has 7 with another 1 on the way, but one of his friends (also 9mths) hasnt cut any yet and this boys mum didnt get her first tooth until 18mths
Its highly unlikely there is anything wrong the teeth will be in there just waiting their time ;) its better to go through teething when theyre that little bit older i think because the babies have so much more co-ordination and can use teething toys by themselves to provide some relief

Started teething at 3 months, first tooth came at 6 months, followed a few days later by his second tooth. He got his front top 2 teeth about a week apart when he was about 7 1/2 months (he was 9 months on April 9th). For our boy, the top 2 teeth were way worse coming through, he was a bear for a couple of weeks when they were cutting. As we are often told, all babies are different, a friend of mines girl didn't get her first tooth until 13 months. I hope for your sake they don't all come at the same time, that will not be fun for you.

My daughter had her 1st two teeth at 6 months but no more since then and she turned 9 months on the 4th of April. My son had his 1st with 9 nearly 10 months (he is now 2 and still has 6 missing) and I know of babies that got the 1st with 12 months! It's all normal they come when they come there is nothing you can do than help you baby cope with the discomfort.

My son was 9mths old on the 11th and has no sign of teeth whatsoever the pediatrician said. She said she thinks his may come in all at the same time since his gums are showing no signs. She said she doesn't worry about it until they are after 1 and still no teeth, so I am just waiting lol

Not sure! My daughter is 9 months but she has 7 teeth already. She started teething around 2 1/2 months old and sprouted her first tooth at 4 months.
