My son Trent, who is 10yrs. old now, didn't cut a single tooth till he was 9 1/2 mos.! His brother Damien, who's 13mos now, cut his first tooth when he was 3 mos! Damien had a mouth full of teeth, molars and all, at not even 12 mos. so I guess it depends on the the baby! They both came from my husband and I, no reason they should be different, in that aspect, so I wouldn't worry! Besides I think that lil baby smile, before their teeth come in is just the cutest smile ever! Hope I helped!

mine is 10 months and doesn't a single tooth in his mouth. i think it's heriditary. my mother in law told me that my husband was 1year old and had no teeth. being a dentist back in my country we usually give them calcium drops, but her they don't. so i guess i'll wait for the next 2 months and see what happens

My first born had a tooth by 6m of age but, our second son didn't cut his first tooth until 9m almost 2 weeks. He will be 10m tomorrow and cut his second tooth just a couple days ago.

yes its totally normal. Babies hit milestones at different ages. Some walk sooner some get teeth sooner. My baby is almost 10 months and just got his first teeth in.

My daughter is 9 months old and just got her first tooth about 3 wks ago and the 2nd one is starting to come in now. My pediatric dentist said not to worry about her getting any teeth until she was about a year and a half old. She said some babies just get teeth late. Try something called Highland's Homeopathic Teething Tablets. You can get them at whole food stores and they are all natural. I use them along with a little bit of Tylenol and it works great. But always ask your doctor before giving any type of medicine. Natural or otherwise. Hope this helps. Good luck!

i too was concerned with my daughter. She did not cut her first tooth till she was 8 months old. all my buddies kids we getting teeth by 6 months. My nurse says some babys get close to 10 months before they get teeth. Rest assured they will come eventually, and when they do you will know. you will have a biting machine

MY LIL GIRL IS 9 MONTHS OLD AND HASN'T CUT A TOOTH AND WILL NOT CRAWL COMPLETELY. SHE ATTEMPTS TO CRAWL, BUT THEN JUST LAYS DOWN AND SCOOTS HER WAY TO WHERE SHE WANTS TO GO. AS FAR AS THE TEETH GOES, I TOOK HER TO THE DOCTOR LAST WEEK FOR HER CHECK-UP N THE DR. TOLD ME SHE WOULD CUT THEM SOON, NOT TO WORRY AND TO CONTINUE TO FEED HER TABLE FOOD.

They say the long it takes for them to get teeth, the healthier their teeth will be, so dont worry about it. Have you heard of Amber bead teething necklaces for babys? If not google it & check them out, I got my wee guy one & it seems to of helped, teething doesnt seem to bug him anymore.
Good luck

Same here. Actually, Aidan just turned 9 months yesterday, and about two days ago we felt the bump of a tooth beneath his gums. I think his problem is that he's been teething in many places around his mouth and not just that one right there. He's teething his back right tooth too. So I'm not sure what's up with that.

My son is almost 9.5 months and still no signs of teeth. He was teething really bad from about month 3-7 but it has calmed down and now no signs. Oh well, he can still eat some solids very well and it's easy to nurse so I'm okay with it! lol

My daughter will be 10months soon, and still no teeth. Shes been teething since 3months though. My nephew who is 6months already has 2 teeth. My doctor says its normal, every baby is different. My daughter however has very strong gums...she chews her cookies and any little bits of food that we give her.

all babies are different when it comes to teething my daughter is only 9 half months and only has her front two teeth she only got them last month she is now cutting back teeth. They take ages to cut through the gums and you will be able to see them shinning under the gums soon enough it seems like forever.

My baby cut her first tooth just a week shy of her turning nine months.I was also worried coz she started getting all the signs of teething when she was three months old but now the teeth are coming out without a hassle!!The second one started appearing just a week later.Thank goodness!!And well the biting is still there as Im still breastfeeding but its not so bad coz if I scold her her lets go.Try the teething necklaces I found that they soothed by LO so much that when she didnt have it on she would be miserable!

i don't think you're supposed to give your baby meat at 3 months old...... but as for the teething situation, my daughter is 9 months also and has no teeth. although it seems like shes been teething since 3 months old!! but like most people said all babies are different. some don't get them until really late. but i figure im just going to enjoy this gummy little smile as long as i possibly can!! :)

dont worry, some babies walk, crawl earlier than others. same with "tooth coming out". my son is 8months now and already has 4 front teeth.
but if your baby is teething this past few months as you say, im sure they will soon come out

My son just turned 9 months. His dr said it isn't such a bad thing to not have teeth while on the bottle b/c there is a much higher risk for cavities. He is a bottle fed baby so I'm ok w/ him not having teeth... or cavities!

My daughter is almost 9 1/2 months and no teeth here either. I've heard that when teeth come in can run in the family. My mom told me that I got my first tooth at 14 months, my MIL said my husband got his first tooth around 6 months, so if my daughter splits the middle we should have teeth coming anytime now!

My daughter just turned 9 months and she still has no teeth as well. I thought it was very strange that she didnt have any teeth because my son got his first teeth early about 3 months. I didnt breastfeed my son but my daughter is still going strong. I think it must be natures way to make breastfeeding easier for us Mothers :-)

My daughter turned 9 months on the 7th and she still has no teeth. I am not worried. Her daddy didn't get teeth until he was 10.5 months old. As long as she is not like my aunt who didn't get teeth until she was 2, I'll be fine!

It really depends on when he started teething but mostly when did his gums turn pink i know my son started at 3 months and his gums turned pink at 3.5 to 4 months he had his teeth by 6 to 7 months. They said if you feed your baby meat their teeth suppose to come in faster i think its true because my son been eating meat since 3 months.

Same with my son, he's 9 and half months and still no teeth. My first son got his first tooth at 3months, my second was about 8months. I'm starting to wonder if his gums are hardened from all the food he eats. You're not alone.

Riley is 9.5 months and has no teeth yet. Looks like almost a start on the top. I thinks she has been teething for about 3 months, but apparently not (LOL). My doctor is not concerned and said the longer they wait to come in, the stronger they typically are.
