I had my daugther weighed when she was 8 1/2 months old and she was 20 and 1/2 pounds then, lol. I'd say she's over 21 now and she just turned 9 months the other day. That's not heavy! :)

Brandon will be 10 months old May 8th and he weighs 23 lbs. as she becomes more active she will slim up a bit nothing to worry about right now according to the doctor.

My son is 9 1/2 months and weighs 22lb 11 ounces; your baby is fine - health is all you should worry about right now. Once s/he begins to walk they'll lose the baby weight!

My 9 month old daughter just weighed in at 26 pounds (99%) I don't remember length right now but that was 99% too. My doctor said she was perfect. I think 21 lbs is just fine. How big was she when she was born?

My 9 month old daughter only weighs 15.14lbs, but my nine month old nephew weighed 20.4lbs earlier this month. I gaurentee you he weights at least 21lbs now. It's normal, so don't worry! I saw a baby that was four months old who weighed 15lbs, and I'm sure she weighs a lot more than 21lbs by now :)

My second son loves food as well. He is 9 months and weighs 26 lbs. My husband is concerned that he is going to be obese because he eats so much but I think he will just be tall. His ped is not concerned either so I just watch the amount of formula he drinks and makes sure he has a healthy diet.

My son also loves his food....he weighs about 21lbs now and I am not concerned and neither is our family doctor. My son is starting to really get around the house and walking with the furniture, so I think the weight gain may start to slow as he is becoming more active....I wouldn't worry about it unless your doctor is worried :)

My daughter will be 10 months next week. She is weighing in at about 23 lbs...i go to the Dr with her today to find out the exact weight. She is a big girl! But I love it. Her doctor tried to tell me she was worried about her weight when she was 6 months old or so. I told her I am not worried about it. They'll even out when they start walking and moving around more. I can't keep her still now, so I imagine the weight gain will slow down. :)

I have twins and my son weighs about 21 lbs...and he is in 50-75% according to his pediatrician! My daughter on the other hand weighs about 19lbs and she is in 25-50%. So I would say your baby girl is average.

My son is almost 10 months old and hes 22lbs and almost 31in. hes a big boy. I wouldnt worry much about your daughter unless the dr says something besides once shes walking she will start to slim down.

My 9 and a half month old son weighs 23 pounds. The doctor says that it is fine, and he is healthy! Funny thing is that he really doesn't eat food well. He has practically skipped baby food completely. He really won't eat unless it is finger food, well that or boob. LOL :)

My Daugther is just turning nine months and her last Dr's apt was over a month ago ...she was 22 pounds! I swear she is heavier now. People always think she is much older than she is. I am 5"11 so I think she will be very tall!

My daughter just had her 9 month check-up yesterday and she weighed in at 17lbs 6.4 oz and 27.5 inches tall. I was a little concerned because it seemed small but the doctor said she looks perfect, she's just small!

My daughter is 9 mths old and she weighs 20 lbs 14 ozs and she is 30" long. As long as her height and weight are around the same percentile then its fine. My daughter is in the 95th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for height.

My son is 21 pounds also and is in the 50% for his weight. As long as your child is following his growth curve and staying right about the same in his percentage then they are considered healthy.

no, all babies are different, my son was 18lbs1 a couple weeks ago and he sits ont he 25th line onf the growth chart. As long as they are healthy its not a problem and at the moment they are stocking up ready for when they are mobile and burning off way more.

My daughter is now 9 months and 1 week old and she weighs just over 17 pound. She's a little bit underweight (but so am I and my husband), so I think your daughter is a good weight for this age.
