My 15 month old takes one nap a day. He breastfeeds loads still and eats food a little bit.
He doesn't have many words, less than 10 I'd say but understands everything. Can follow instructions like 'take this to Daddy' or 'put this in the recycling basket'. He loves clapping and cheering after music whether live or recorded, is very affectionate with hug and kisses and generally an all round happy kid. Walking constantly and keeping me busy!

My little darling still needs two naps a day, or three if something wakes her early from a nap. She feeds herself with her hands, though we are trying to get her to use spoon and fork... loves bread, peas, carrots, corn, and fruit. She has been walking since 13 months. She says mama, dada, boo, no, and a couple of other words less accurately! She loves bouncing and clapping to music, any toy that makes noise, and just carrying things randomly around the house! She waves bye-bye, points, and plays peekaboo. This age is just so cute!

Hale takes 2 naps in the late morning and late afternoon. If he skips a nap he is a cranky butt by supper time. He sleeps anywhere from 10- 13 hours a night.
He eats like a little pig, his daycare lady always tell me how amazed she is by how much such a little man can eat (he is only 21 lbs. 9 oz, so not a very big) We are pretty sure he has a bottomless pit for a tummy, LOL. He eats just about everything (healthy, no junk around here!)
He has about 15 words in his vocab from Mama, dada, to all-gone, puppy, uh oh, hello, etc.
he loves to 'read' stories to us and babble and point as he turns the pages of board books, recently started to 'run' around the house, playing outside, going for walks (usually to the library to get a new board book) playing with his aunt, uncle and daddy and the new kitten at grandma's house.

I have just my lil Mila on one nap a day from 12-3. She goes to be at 7-7:30 and wakes up around the same time. She has a terrible appetite and has always been a small baby. Some days she eats lots and others, nothing! She says the usual things lik mum, dad, nana, poppa, baba(grandma in Macedonian), Dedo (grandpa), dog, puss puss, ta, nah nai, bottle, bird, bye bye, hello, blows kisses, baby, ball ect. She trys to sing twinkle twinkle and does the actions. She understands everything and can make dog, cat, monkey sounds. They say kids who are learning two languages or are in two language families tend to speak later because a few of their words are muddled, but when they do speak they can speak both languages. She is interested in playing in the kitchen, playing with her dolls and feeding them and putting them to sleep, putting them in a pram. Also LOVES animals and loves it when I read to her books with animals in them or we watch movies with animals. She is also starting to really get into putting things in bags and carrying them around. They change so much dont they!

my 14 month old daugther, Gracie sleeps well during the day but is not on a set schedule. she may take one to two naps a day and her naps vary from one to two hours. it really depends in the day. as for her night time sleeping, she has recently been waking up 3 or 4 times a night!!! i'm still trying to work on that! she is a very good eater. she eats a variety of fruits and some veggies. but doesn't really like bread or cheese. she is a talker! however, she mostly repeats what my husband or i say (or anybody for that matter). she does understand a lot and i would say she knows about 30-40 words. she's really into books. any kind of book - she loves!! and when she's not with her books, she's walking, running, and she loves to be outside.

He can say a lot of words and communicates with those as well as pointing and taking my hand to show me things and whinging at me when hes frustrated..lol..And he is right into colours at the moment, he only knows blue so far but we are working on green at the moment, loves to climb everything and anything, expecially onto tables, which drives me mad some days, hes a very funny little man with persistance plus.

How many naps are they taking?

John gets up at about 7am then he goes for a snoozie at 10, again at 3 and bed time is 7 seems to work well for him.

What is your child's appetite like?

was awful for many many months. but i went to visit my mother in uk for a month and now he's eating like a horse. three meals a day and snacks.

Is your little one talking/communicating with you?

he is starting to say many words, some difficult ones too, lik thank-you(fankoo) and guinness (my moms dog, sounds very right), grandad(gandaa), been saying papa and mama for ages but is now saying 'mom-mom' and 'daddy'. 'titi' for his bottle, 'mouse' if he wants something??!! - his own language!! and he will often point at somthing and sat 'dit' which i think is 'that', many others but thats what i can think of atm

What kinds of things are they interested in currently?

i made him a make shift tent by throwing a blanket over his old play gym and he loves that, he loves playing in the garden, water, loves playing on the telephone, he has always loved books but i brought some new ones back from uk and he's really enjoying them.he's enjoying feeding himself and dringking out of normal bottles and mugs, this is very messy though so i only give him water. and i feed him in the middle of the kitches so he can mess and i just sweep up and wash the floor quick once he is done. he also loves bathing at the moment. he is climbing in and out of his campcot and all over the couches!

Down to 1 nap after l unch

Eats anything I give her

Not a ton of different words, but uses signs and has great inflection so she gets her point across.

Climbing on everything. Eating anything. Books, dolls, and her big sister.

She is very affectionate, always kissing and hugging her teddies. She eats very well and isnt fussy atall, she certainly loves her food! She usually has a nap after lunch about 1-3 but i am trying to cut this out as she has been going to bed later alot recently and when she doesnt have it she sleeps the whole night. She says Mum, Dad, Nan, 'Whats that?', juice and alot of other little phrases that i can just about make sence of, but she constantly babbles all day too :). She is a very happy little girl and my pride and joy :) xx

My son Aiden is15 months old, He sleeps anywhere from 9- 12 hrs a night and still has 2 naps 10:30-12:30 and 3:30-5:30(he loves to sleep!!) he babbles constantly but only says a few words, points alot, likes to "read" books by himself only because he is constantly moving crawling, climbing and cruising(not walking yet). We have had troubles with eating since the begining he has a very sensitive gag reflex and is only now starting to feed himself, but he also has an eye condition and although he wears glasses we are not sure how well he see and wonder if that is why he is slower with somethings. He loves to play with his books and his dogs and he loves trucks. He also likes balls and shopping!!!! He is very happy 99.9% of the time he will laugh if he hears other people laughing and says hi to everyone, even flies!! Oh he also adores The Wiggles :)

Hes a very energetic little boy he says about 10 words, but makes up his own little language? Instead of saying (i want to get up) he says, BUP! Its very funny. He loves reading books and learning about what animals say. He also copies everything i do, to the best of his abilities.. He loves to play outside and loves attention for clever things. He has two sleps a day one at 10-11:30 then 2:30-3:30. Sleeps through the night. When hes up, hes up! When hes down, he's out! Although his listening abilities varie .. Sometimes I have to really make sure ive got his full attention. Hope this helps ;)

My son takes one-two naps a day. His appetite varies, but it's normally really healthy. We eat 3 main meals and then snacks. He talks really well, we're around family a lot so he's picked up a lot of new words. His favorite thing to do us throw his football. And if you catch it he yells, "Touchdown!!"

My little Belle is 14 1/2 months. She sleeps 12 -14 hours at night and has one nap during the day for 1-3 hours. She has always been a night sleeper and very active during the day. She is chatty with over 50 words or phrases and if she can't say it or we don't understand her she just points and says "what's that?". she can say and point to her nose, ears, eyes, and tries to say teeth and mouth. Every time she sees a duck, dog, or cat she 'll make their sound it's really cute! She can stack up to five wooden blocks and is starting to know the names or sounds of a few letters. She has just started walking in the last few weeks but still prefers to crawl most of the time. She loves sitting and rolling a ball back and forth, and anything to do with music, she is always dancing!

She'll eat almost everything you put in front of her but has her favourites. Some days She seems to always be hungry and others she'll just nibble but will drink more milk.

I've heard that girls develop speech and are better with words sooner than boys, and that boys develop motor skills (crawling, walking) sooner than girls. Not sure if it's true as Belle is my only child it's just something I heard.

My daughter just turned 15 months on the 5th and she takes one maybe two naps a day. She goes to bed around 8:30 or 9 and sleeps until around 9 in the morning. She loves to eat. I always give her a variety of foods at each meal and she usually eats some of all of it. My little one talks constantly, she says all kinds of words and phrases, and if she doesn't know how to say it, she asks us how. She's a little parrot! We recently bought her some color wonder markers and paper and she loves that. She loves books, dolls, throwing balls around, and she can't hear music without getting up and dancing.

Ella's nap schedule is adjusting. She wakes up at 7am (goes to bed at 7pm) and some days naps from 9am to 11am and again around 2 pm to 3:30 pm. If she skips the Am nap she will take a nap around 12:30 and wake up at 3:30.

She is becoming a picky eater. Not really into vegetables with the exception of broccoli. We have our staples which we can go to if she refuses everything else.

She is on the verge of walking. Very hesitant but were getting there. Crawls, climbs, and cruises everywhere.

My daughter Madilyn will be 15 months on the 14th. She takes 1 nap for 2 or more hours either mid morning or early afternoon. She is talking like crazy and understands so much. She's running, jumping, climbing. Loves to be outside and loves to go down the slide. She loves books! She will sit down with a pile of books and go through each page. If she recognizes something she will say the word or make the sound that the animal makes. It's absolutely amazing!

She is a healthly eater. She eats everything that we eat and she knows when she's had enough. She knows basic sign language and will either sign that she wants more or is all done and over the last month, she has begun doing the signs and saying the words at the same time. Loves yogurt, applesauce and of course, mac and cheese and pretty much anything you give her she likes.

My son takes one nap at 12:30pm for 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours. His appetite is pretty horrible..not eating a lot and refusing anything healthy. No he does not talk, has had an ear infection since he was 7 months old so he can' t hear well. He likes playing at the beach or park, watching tv (try not to let him do that too much!), just basically doing new things.

My son, Jayden, will be 15 months on the 13th..

At daycare, they 'say' he takes one nap from 12 to 2, yet on Saturday and Sundays he goes down around that time but only stays sleep for about an hour..

Jayden LOVES to eat.. He usually eats breakfast around 7:30, a snack around 9:30, lunch around 12, another snack around 3, and then dinner around 7. I have all of his food and snacks in its own section so sometimes he goes to it and grab his fav snack and brings it to me. He has a HUGE appetite.. lol If I let him, he would eat morning, noon, and night.. One good thing, though, he has his preferences so he doesn't eat just anything and after he is sick of eating a certain thing he pushes it away.

I can't really say he is talking and communicating with me.. At times, he would point to something and say 'what' or 'that' and also says 'hi', 'bye', 'mama', and 'dada, but that is as far as it goes.. He understands a lot but he is just not pronounciating that well yet..

Jay plays with so many things.. At the moment, he loves to read. Whenever he sees a book, he sits down, and flip through the pages. He also loves balls and cars.. Well, he does say 'wow' everytime the car moves.. He also congratulates himself ALOT... lol Whenever he does anything from putting a ball in a container to stepping over a rock, he claps and smiles with approval.. I guess its cause I always encourage him by clapping and saying 'good job' whenever he accomplishes something..

I love my lil man, he is definitely a soon to be 15 month old joy... :)

Hey. My daughter Madison will be 15 months on the 28th of Oct. She takes one nap when she sleeps in until about 9, and that nap is around 2-4 pm. Most days however she wakes up at 7 am takes a nap around 10 am and then another around 4pm. She eats but she doesn't like to stop. So i try to be sure that she eats snacks that she can carry around the house in between meals. She finally lays down at about 10 or 10:30 pm. and sleeps all night. :D She babbles mostly her vocabulary is growing daily. lol She is interested in anything that catches her eye. She is very curious and full of energy. Just take deep breaths and soak in the pure joy a child has.

My b/g twins will be 15 months on the 8th of October. They are sleeping 8-9 hours at night, and only once a day maybe an hour, they never did sleep much. They are running, jumping, they especially love to climb. They speak a lot, at least 50 words or phrases each, but understand much more. They ask if they need something and answer shortly if you ask them something they know, if they don't know to say it, they try to show it somehow. They listen orders like: Put your dirty diaper in garbage! or Bring your sisters shoes! or Give your brother his elephant! or Put the music on and dance!, Bring your daddy a cow, sheep and a pig from a box (with toys) and a lot more. They can answer how dog barks, what do cat, mouse, bird, duck, frog, cow, goat, sheep, lion, chicken say. They can also show all body and face parts when asked. They communicate a lot. They like books, playing with a ball, especially kicking it. They always share with each other, and like to play together. They love to eat and by now we didn't discover any food they don't like, they even eat raw onions and like it. You can never eat anything near them, they always want some. They laugh a lot, hug and kiss each other, and love to hide. They like to get involved so I give them small tasks like to put toys back in a box or help me to put the groceries in a fridge, and they enjoy it. We're definitely never bored!

he eats almost anything, and eats a good amount.
he only says probably about 10 words clearly, but he tries to say a lot more. he communicates well though by showing us or pointing. and he babbles constantly. and he understands a lot we say.
he loves reading books, playing with balls, chasing the cat. he is recognizing what letters are from his abc book and he points at them and makes sounds.
