I had my son 3 1/2 weeks ago, and ever since I came home, I've felt so... depressed. Can anyone help explain these feelings?

I just had my fourth baby, and I never had postpartum depression with the others. Ever since I came home from the hospital, I've felt sad and like crying and just, blah. I'm on maternity leave for 8 weeks, my husband goes to work. Lately I've felt like he's cheating, or there's something he's not telling me. Is that part of PPD? I'm just so confused about these feelings! I need some advice...

Yes, paranoia can be a part of PPD. It sounds like you need to tell your doctor about how you feel. If your breastfeeding, you can ask her what you can do to deal with your depression without having to resort to medication first. I know meds make it easy, but knowing what is going on and working day by day through it can work as well. If it's too severe, then please consider the medications if your doctor says you might need them.
