FTM so it's all new and magical to me! I think taking care of a baby is like taking care of a very small drunk person...she is so cute and makes me laugh, the fatigue is worth it!
I babywear, breastfeed, and cosleep though so it's not too bad, I can get stuff done in the house and at night I don't have to go anywhere, just take out a boob and cuddle her close!

lol I'm with you Jessica... I ask myself why did I do this again? Forgetting how much work and time babies are. How demanding they are, how many times they eat and puke on you... HOWEVER, I look at my lil guy and I look at my 5 year old and its all worth it in the end.. Just wish I could stop dealing with a collick baby (can't wait for him to outgrow it.....) He's gotta eat the most expensive formula (couldn't breastfeed because of medical reasons sadly) But then I look at him and I can't wait for the day that he'll just look back at me and smile his first smile then I know It'll allllll be worth it! I had it easier with my daughter (i've come to the conclusion that boys are WAY MORE DEMANDING then girls... lol) He's only a month old now but I know it gets better the older they get!

I love having another baby sometimes lol. I have a to year old who is starting to talk so most of the time when the baby is asleep he thinks this is the PERFECT time to start talking. And (I know this is normal for two year olds) he repeats himself even after you have acknowledged him. He is SUPER helpful though.

My little one won't get on a schedule, he refuses to. Sometimes he sleeps for 3 or 2 and a half hours, other times he will sleep 4 and a half to 5 hours. I cosleep but I got super sick at the two week mark and had to stop breast feeding for a couple days so my milk supply kind of stopped. So I have to get up and make a bottle. At the moment we are struggling money wise since I'm a stay at home mom so things are a little stressful. But I;m trying my hardest to keep my head up (: I love being a mom so that helps (:

This is my first baby so at times it seems surreal and real at the same time. He is sweet and cuddling but demanding about his feedings.

I feel so bad for him when he is uncomfortable, spitting up or gassy so I just started laying off the dairy two days ago. Plus, I must admit that I some of the laying off the dairy is in the hope that he sleeps 4 to 4.5 hours at night so I can too.

Yesterday, I pumped some milk for him in the am and then saved it for late evening in the hope that filling him up then (I feel like I am having trouble with enough milk at night since he is really hungry lately in the eve but have plenty in the am) would get him a stretch of sleep. It seemed to work, but we will see if this works tonight too. He woke my up Friday night every hour with hunger or spit up so I have been trying to avoid this again.

We're having a great time with our second little one. It's definitely taken some adjusting being a family of 4 now but we're enjoying it. My son is being super with his new little sister. The nights aren't too bad. She sleeps pretty well compared to my first.

Lol I couldn't be happier. The only thing that's hard right now is my little one has acid reflux. Which is super difficult to deal with :/
